1 Have to start Parham and bench Jolpin.
2 Mitchell's off gone in last 3 games.  He used to use the glass.  Not lately
3 We have to practice and practice free throw shooting
4 We are very soft and teams are bulling us all the time
5 Is Gold going to make a outside shot rest of the year.
6 We are asleep out there.  We aren't aware of what is going on.
7 We can't box out anyone
8 Have to have someone else try to be point, so Kam can concentrate on off
9 Could very easily lose our next 4 games.

WellsstreetWanderer

I said earlier that running point had wrecked Kam. Chase should be point guard
We need to add a rim protector and shift Gold to of next year. He is underutilized

wadesworld

Amazing we were in a 1 possession game going to the line inside 3 minutes on the road against the first place team in the BE when everyone sucks and we don't know what we're doing.

We R Final Four

Curious if you think practicing, practicing, practicing FTs is going to help a senior at this point in their career?

As if they don't practice FTs?

tower912

Stevie had back to back career highs last week.
Parham had a good game and it was fun to see. But it isn't like he is a rebounding or defensive upgrade over anyone.
Shaka isn't changing his starters.

Johnnie's were brutal on FT line. They make theirs and we lose big.

Teams don't practice free throws, players practice them. Using team practice for free throws is a waste of practice time. Team practice is limited by NCAA rules.

They were below average for them, I wouldn't say they were brutal. They have shot 68.7% from the line this season. They shot 54.8% tonight. They make 4 more free throws and they are at their average.

Okay. But the players need to practice shooting period. We will not win if we can't shoot threes and free throws. Too bad Stevie can't play point.

Stevie has played the point for minutes, or do you mean he is bad as a PG?

They were probably worn out from taking FT's.

Ross barely has the ball handling skills to bring the ball up court. Unfortunately MU is in a tough spot with no true point guard and relying on their best off ball guy to do PG duties, which he's doing pretty well at all things considered. Sean Jones returning sooner would have offered some more options in the back court having a true point out there. It likely would have improved shooting for more than just Kam.

Its DJOver

Kam's a finalist for the Cousy Award, his assist % has dropped all the way down to, checks notes, 38.6, while his TO% has remained under 10.

If you want to make the argument that having another "true" point guard could lessen the responsibilities Kam has and would allow him to focus more on pure scoring, I could buy it, but the rest of the CBB world sure seems to think that Kam is doing all right as a PG.

And I'm guessing they probably anticipated Sean being available at some point this year. Shaka hinted quite early that Sean looked good on the floor but it was up to him to decide when he was ready.

Tough spot for Shaka to be in because they don't recruit portal players.

Are we just going to ignore this one? We have DePaul and Seton Hall at home after Saturday. We are not losing our next four unless the team plane gets lost in the Bermuda Triangle on the way back from Omaha.

Personally I think we win our next 6 and then the board loses it's mind when we lose @ UConn.

This Saturday is obviously a tough one but I think we get it. We aren't losing to DePaul, PC, or SHU at home. And I don't think Neptune is capable of coming up with a gameplan to beat Marquette.

Even my 3 - 7 to end the BE season has them beating Depaul and Seton Hall...
