I know Tower's out for this one, but usually someone better than me steps up to fill in.

1) Hard to complain about a 30 point road win.
2) Stevie is a total monster defensively.
3) If we get this Zaide the rest of the year we're really in for something.
4) Stepped on a team on the road for the first time this season. Hope to see it more going forward.
5) The freshman played like freshman for most of the night.
6) The play by play and color analyst were good. Enjoy that being a point here, because that's how uninteresting MU made this game.
7) Rest won out over rust.
8) 3-0 in the BE, with 2 road wins.

Get on board.  This team is fun.

Thanks for the Excellent report. Was a great way to finish 2024.

Complacency is where things as a fan come off the rails. Always be looking for something to criticize

Lowery easily had his best game at MU. This was the first time he played as an equal part of the offense. Looked completely comfortable as part of an efficient team rather than just filling in a couple minutes here and a couple minutes there. Looked like an equal.

I've always liked the way he played - tough, athletic. But guys look much better when the ball goes in the basket.

Thought the all freshman sophomore line up at the last few minutes handled themselves well!

10) There is no other BE fan base that I'd rather have to sit through a 30-pt. loss than the
entitled Providence faithful. Saw a lot more empty seats in the second half than in the
first. I wonder how many empty seats there will be in March.

I have zero love for Providence so tonight made me happy. But if I had to choose one fanbase, it'd be UConn. Without a doubt.

Agree. Really bullish on him rest of this year and next season as a "3 and D" guy.

At least UConn fans have the success to back their arrogance up.

It's not their success that bothers me. It's the fact we lost by nearly 30 at their place last year, then lost to them again two more times. And each time, I got to hear it from trash-talking UConns fans.

Love their program and coach, but the fans are insufferable — even more so than Providence fans, to me.

Watched the game at dinner, then rewatched when at home. Very nice.

Agree on the announcers.  They knew their stuff.

Lots of games this season and lots of wins methinks...BUT these two games against UCONN and likely 3 and maybe even 4....those games could very well define our season. In fact I'll predict now, they will.

Yep.  That UConn NMD game will be fun.  Seems like a two horse race for the Big East regular season and tournament title, with St John's and Creighton the dark horses right now. As far as four games that would happen in the elite eight  or final four.  Fun to think about.

Creighton for me. They thought they were God's gift to the Big East with Dougie McBuckets.

The one UCONN alum/fan who I know is very polite and speaks highly of Marquette, but even he jokes about how obnoxious UCONN fans are.  ;D

I have seen the Connecticut hillbillies (I hope that they are not alums....my Gawd) at MSG, but the student and alums aren't much better. They should learn from Marquette fans. We are always very calm, polite and even applaud when opponents make a great play. We congratulate them when they win and wish them well.

For those of you who agree with me, please PM me as I have a great deal to offer you to buy the bridges in Richmond that I own and will sell to you at bargain prices.
Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

Relax. We aren't the St. Louis Cardinal fanbase.

Marquette fans are the epitome of Midwestern Nice. We're so nice it makes me want to puke. The UCONN fans are just a step away from the nearby New Yorkers. A**holes, and damn proud of it.
