Jop went into 4 figures today. Kudos to Jop.

Kam also surpassed a couple of my favorites on the all-time list today, namely Dean the Dream and DJO. His next targets are Bo  (needs 9 pts), and Wes (needs 19). Passing Wes would put him in the top 10 all-time.

PGsHeroes32

Kam is gonna be #2

Stevie getting to 1,000 would be awesome. Great chance to do it. Assuming current pace and playing a few extra games
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

TallTitan34

If he goes off for 1,749 against Providence he will pass Markus for the Marquette all-time record.

He will have two turnovers and that is all that will be talked about.

Markus's senior night jersey should've just been raised right up into the rafters.

Elonsmusk

Congrats to David Joplin. He's worked really hard to become a more versatile player than just catch and shoot.  Today's game was his all-around best at MU in my opinion.  His improvement on defense has been incredible.  He is the X-factor for how far this team can go.

DoctorV

Yea where did that defensive jump come from anyway?

Kudos to whoever came up with StopWagon.

Now we just gotta get that sky high jumper back in the hoop, it's a crime for that kid to be shooting 30% from 3

I love the move he's using more consistently of getting into the lane at his own pace, being patient, and elevating for a one hand push shot off two feet. It's been real effective over smaller defenders and it should pay off more as the season goes on.

This all feels likely.

Kam is on pace to become the second 2,000 point scorer in program history in the penultimate game of the season at UConn.

For Stevie to get to 1,000, he would need to average...
  • 18 more games (regular season only) - 12.06 ppg
  • 20 more games (regular season + 1 BET + 1 NCAA) - 10.85 ppg
  • 24 more games (regular season + BET Final + S16) - 9.04 ppg
At his current 11.5 ppg pace he would get there in the first BET game.

Then if Kam averages 70 a game he can catch Markus if we win both tournaments right?
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

He only has to average 58.3 which feels more doable.

Kam already has more wins than Markus.

Cam Brown > Markus Howard.

It's nice Kam, like Markus before him, is representing the university in a positive matter.  Marquette can be proud to have both represent the university.  If you judge either by just stats or wins, that says more about you than them.

Because Cam Brown (like Markus and Kam) has played big minutes from day one and been a leader.

You can have Wilt. I'll take Bill Russell.

That is a terrible analogy. And it's not Markus' fault that he didn't have a better coach guiding him...or a more well rounded roster around him.

And it was needlessly silly to (once again) have brainless criticism of Markus in a topic that was just a bunch of back and forth banter about his scoring record.

And if the coach that recruited Jones was still here, Kam probably would be pushing for that all time scoring record and be far more similar to Howard. Just like Markus would've benefitted more from a coach that helped develop his defense and distribution skills even more.

This is a terrible post - all of your posts are. You are needlessly silly many times every day here, lecturing others in that regard is the height of irony. Wades and I were having a little fun. You are a buttinski incapable of minding your own business - maybe because you don't have one. Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy New Year!

I don't disagree, Brew. I was telling Wades and Sultan for years how in over his head Wojo was. They couldn't see it.

It's a public message board so I will comment on whatever I want to.

You now claim it was "a little fun" when your terrible take was exposed as terrible. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL....

I win. Again.

You literally have never won anything in your very sad, very small life. A false self brag is as close as you'll ever get.

You're in luck, though. My New Year's resolutions is going to be to stop crushing you. You'll go on Ignore and I'll leave it to others to point out how foolish you are. I'll continue to have fun at your expense until then, though.
