Kam is a lot of fun to watch and you mentioned some other great players. To date, DWade was the most exciting player I have seen ever seen at MU and by a nice margin. He was different than any other great player that has spent time at MU, imo.

Agreed. I have not been a big fan of Tre so far. He played a solid game yesterday.

Tre wasn't trying to lead the second unit yesterday. He played with the starters and fit in nearly seamlessly.

There was a guy a few years ago who ended up with the most points in the history of the most storied basketball conference in college basketball.

And Kam is definitely better at creating for himself than Jerel was.

Kam has ways of scoring that Jerel never even imagined.

That's why I find him so fun to watch.  He is so clever with the ball.
Wade was obviously better, and he was an athletic marvel, but the ingenious ways Kam creates for himself and others often just makes me laugh.  That's why I say fun.

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

As much fun as it is for us to watch Kam, imagine how much our opponents must hate playing against him.

Here's this below the rim player that doesn't quite have blow by speed. But he beats you with a crazy array of spin moves, half hook shots, floaters, step back threes, and scoop shots off the glass from every angle imaginable.

Kam's feel, footwork, and extensive bag are a treat to us, but it has to be absolute torture for our opponents.

Yes, Gard referenced as much in his post game presser.

Wade definitely was the most "fun" Marquette player to watch. He was pure greatness in college, an obvious future NBA star, and he attacked the basket with force, athletic abilityy and body-twisting skill.

But after him, I'd put Kam at or near the top in the fun-to-watch category in my 4+ decades as a Marquette fan. In addition to his array of offensive moves - highly entertaining in its own right - Kam seems to be a fun kid who is beloved by everyone in the program.

Kam has WAY more offensive moves than Jerel did. Those high-off-the-glass bankers that drop through the bucket - no Marquette player I can ever remember did anything like that.

In my text chains with friends, after Kam contorts his body impossibly to score, I like to say, "Kam is Gumby, dammit!"

I call Kam, "Inspector Gadget" because he always finds a way to extend his arm to places that make his shots unlockable.

Unless you're name is Josh Clark.

The UW game was a total team effort. Kam was amazing, but Gold played a great game, Joplin was really good, Stevie was fantastic, and Chase brought a lot of energy for a guy with a bad ankle. I was really glad to see Tre Norman have a really solid game as well.

C'mon, rocky ... it sucks looking over at the SOTG column and seeing only "No Stud when we lose" 3 days after our crew routed the rancid rodents.
