The high praise is rolling in.

Showing up in the top 3 for John Wooden Award winner on some betting sites.

How high does he fly?

He's been one of my favorites for years, and I'm proud he's a Marquette guy.

We're 5 games into the season. There's a lot of ball to be played left. I'm just going to enjoy every game I get to watch him in an MU uniform, and the accolades will fall where they may.

Having said that, BE coaches have just finalized their Ryan Kalkbrenner BEPOY and BEDPOY vote. In fact, they've renamed the DPOY award as the Ryan Kalkbrenner Award for his greatness.

Yeah, way too much season to go.

I will say though, in terms of making 1st team AA hes got a pretty large lead on just about every guard mentioned as in the running during the preseason.

We R Final Four

This poll is making me tear up.

Exactly, way too much season to go.

That's precisely why this poll is much better now imo than in January, when we have a much better idea

I cannot believe Player of the Century is not a choice. Such disrespect to Kam.

I put second team AA.

My thought is that Kam's ceiling in the national picture will be heavily affected by how well the team does and how many points he scores. And his point totals will be reduced if other consistent scorers don't emerge to take some pressure off him.

Uncle Rico

He's a Wojo recruit, so All-American is doable

He is off to a wonderful start.

I'm hoping for BEast POY

brewcity77

I think it will mostly be down to how good we are. If we're a 1/2 seed, he can be NPOY. Getting in the conversation this early is huge because the buzz is already around him and less so around the Sears/Kalkbrenner types.

TallTitan34

Unsurprisingly, Kam is the Big East POY for the second straight week.
