there's no chance Nova finishes that high in Kenpom or ahead of MU, X, PC, and maybe even Butler. SH and GT will be under 100 and DePaul closer to 200. The Demons turned over their entire roster but it's still full of mid-major talent.

This made me chuckle.

You know it's bad over in Villanova when their squad is considered 65 spots overrated, while the squad over in Chicago is considered 65 spots underrated.

I do agree that DePaul will be closer to the top 100. I'll give Neptune and Co the benefit of the doubt and say they are 40-50ish spots too high, but I still don't think they dance in the 60s. That might be the first nice thing I've said about him.

I can never figure out Pitino teams, but my sense is that they are higher than they should be. I'd say Xavier and Marquette have a much higher likelihood of a top 20 KenPom, top 3 BE finish than StJ.

It could be at least be an entertaining game where you can learn something, rather than the typical mid major blowout that does no good.

I was at the 5 point win over New Hampshire a few years ago...that was fun! Learned that Morsell was going to be a go to guy late in games and that Lewis was capable of being a double double guy.
