The congressman who represents that area thought it important that everyone knows that not all of the injuries were from gunfire, but rather a result of terrified kids fleeing from gunfire.

Very sad to confirm there have been four fatalities from the shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, GA.
Many others wounded, but not all gun-related or life-threatening injuries, some from efforts to flee danger.
The suspect is in custody.

For people that are in a position of power who could actually try to do something about the problem rather than pretend they are doing something, I’d argue that there is.  It’s a cop-out. A shirking of responsibility.

Until every schoolkid, from 12th-graders all the way down to kindergartners, are given two loaded AR-15s each to take to school, these shootings will never stop.
