What does comprehensive coverage consist of?

Games, ignoring the program on all of their shows until the tournament, and Jen Lada asking Shaka inane questions a few times per month.

The old alum jerkoff to Jen, though

Nice to see Homer having college bowl game conversations on Twitter in the middle of the Marquette game.

Agreed......he would prefer to talk about Jordan Love 365 before discussing MUBB.

Honestly, a better use of his Twitter than some of his other topics of discussion.

With all the games on TV I can't remember the last time I listened to Homer doing a game.

Agree have not missed attending a home game in years and either attend or watch road games on television. But listened to Homer on the way down to Goolsbys at halftime to watch the Marquette at Providence game and ended up mostly hearing Tyler Kolek on the air.

I like hearing Homer call the games. There's some nostalgia to it. Perhaps he'll be replaced for some sound business reason...but that won't be a good day for me.

tower912

I don't mind Homer, as I know nearly as much about the players and the game as he does.  I can fill in the blanks he leaves.
My wife was driving and listening to an MU game on Sirius.  When she got home she wanted to know if I knew anything about the terrible play by play guy doing the MU game.

So, different perspectives.

agreed. I'll watch a game on tv w/volume down, Homer/TSmith on the radio up. Homer is truly a MU homer. Love it. From his time w/Brute Force George Thompson, Jimmy Mac and now TSmith, Homer has been and is a big part of Marquette basketball, which I appreciate.

The Lens

Al McGuire, George Thompson and to a lesser extent Rick Majerus all considered Homer a great friend.

He's a very important thread through the fabric of Marquette Basketball.

Homer is a Madison grad. Thats his first love. He has been quoted as saying "I love Marquette cuz they pay me."
