So are we doing this again?

MU is on the rise and it’s been a fun ride so far.  All signs show that it will continue, let’s enjoy it.

It appears that Shaka also felt there was not enough size.   The 24 class is Parham, Owens, and Clark.  The 23 class was Hamilton, Amadou, Tre, and Zaide.  For those keeping track at home,
6'3
6'5
6'7
6'9
6'9
6'9
7'0

Well, of course Shaka studies Scoop, where Scoopers are always bitching about poor rebounding.

Clearly.   Hopefully, he stays away from the political stuff.

did mu go F4 and I missed it? Damn it! I thought it was S16 smoke. My bad.

Shaka should be in the hot seat if he doesn't get us at least into the FF this coming season. S 16 is hot, smokin' dung.

None of that matters if he can’t beat RED!

me personally, I love the past 3 seasons. On a solid trend. Excited to see where it goes. Can’t wait for October to get things going again. But, glory? That’s all I was saying. Nothing grim.

I have a weird feeling that's not going to be an issue next season.
Have some patience, FFS.

He’s 17 and only 220 lbs.  Played on the same team as two of Hakeem Olajuwon’s sons.  Knows him well.  Shaka talked to Hakeem before the signing.

One week recruitment.  Shaka went to Texas after watching an online tournament. He came to MU and committed.  He understands he needs to redshirt to become  stronger.

Shaka reiterated he doesn’t take portal players.

🙏👍

I will add to that - both of his parents are in the military and he fits MU culture very well. There was parental buy in on the RS.

I'll also add that he's been working on "guard stuff" like ballhandling with T.J. Ford.  And he won't turn 18 until August.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

He certainly won't during this offseason.   If there are unexpected departures, he may rethink it.   Until then, recruit, retain, develop.    Kickin it old school.
