Oduro at his essence is a soft flower. They just occasionally do dirty/cheapshot things.

What about early in the game his extending his knee out to trip Ross who had to leave the game?

Ty PointWarrior.  I had forgotten about that one.

Someone asked how Theo (considered thuggish by other fan bases) was perceived by Marquette fans. I gave an honest answer. Sorry you didn't like it. You're the one who sounds (very) angry, not me. I'm very happy. Happy in general and happy because MU won. So happy that I'll let your infantile insults go. Have a nice night, Smitty!

Your answer was wrong.

He was setting a pick. Jeez it's like you guys have never watched basketball before.

The knee to knee with Chase was incidental.  Nobody is good enough to bang knees intentionally.   Other than that one, he is physical with intent.  Again, I hope Caedin was studying him.  A subset of scoop laments the lack of physicality by MU.  Hamilton rising to 90% of Oduro's physicality minus the cheap shots would be welcome.

The scoop's a little soft sometimes, you'll have to forgive them.

More physical yes, but we don't need a goon. What I'd most like is Hamilton or Amadou or someone to give opponents something to think about when they attack the basket in the form of a blocked or altered shot.  That's so valuable.

Amadou seems like the better candidate to maybe be that type of player with his energy, length, and bounce, but we'll see.

I'll worry about next year, next November   ;)

This would be big time!

Providence definitely aren't dirty.

But the refs, as always, were bad.

Lenny's not wrong.

When Theo took the brave, correct and Jesuit informed route more fans did over look his somewhat pedestrian play because they were inspired by his Al McGuire like social justice stance.

Theo became a warrior the day he stood up for what was right.

Thank you, Lens. Hope this clears things up for the very angry Smitty and the very wrong Sultan.

Nope. You were wrong. Nobody said the refs were out to get him.

Nice spin though.

Lol.

MUfan12

I don't know if they're a dirty team but there were sure as crap some dangerous plays last night. None more than the guy diving at Chase's knees in the second half.

Oduro's move when Oso got tangled up with him should have been reviewed by rule.

The problem is the refs don't establish any control early. It becomes a free for all and then they try to rein it back in later. Doesn't work.

Markusquette

I wasn't able to catch the game. What was the issue with Oduro?

tower912

Arms locked up. Oduro then yanked Oso's arm in order to free his own

I think there is a difference between dirty and playing right to the edge of physicality and, well, edge. I think the arm wrench by Oduro should have been reviewed and dealt with. But, a hard screen, an elbow to the chest, nah, not dirty. So many people say they want a bruiser, an enforcer, is that dirty?

The shot Stevie took to the head on Thursday, I think that was dirty. Stevie is a gnat, an absolute pain in the ass, he's getting laid out a few times for it. That's closer to dirty, in my opinion.

Frenns Liquor Depot

I just love that everyone on our team appreciates what Fri and sat night in the Garden means—but isn't intimidated by it at this point.  Huge breakthrough and advantage for the program.

PointWarrior

So Oduro makes the all-time Big East  thug team.  I would also put Devendorf on it as well.

Who else makes the team?
