Everyone please get out of Tyler's way for B2B BEPOY.

The train is rolling thru and there's no stopping it.

Has anyone ever won BEPOY 3x in a row? How many have won B2B?

There's no looking to next year when you've got a squad this elite, but my instinct tells me that if he wins B2B he will have a higher chance of returning for B2B2B to be the only player to ever do it, if that's the case.

Of course his love for Marquette, and particularly Shaka, would help.
So would 1M$+ in NIL, or over 1.5M$ if he's returning as a National Champion!

Paging the Michels.... Even though they've already done enough, according to reports.

Been thinking about this for the past few days.  I'm not opposed, but need to see some post season success. He is the best fit I've seen at Marquette since in the last 30 years. . . still pondering

DoctorV

Tyler Kolek last 8 games:

20.6 PPG
9.4 APG
4.6 RPG
52% FG
48% from 3

Marquette: 8-0

SEEING THE ABOVE I RETRACT EVERYTHING I SAID AS BULLSHIT.

That dude is an NBA first rounder.

warriorfred

Would also be happy if Kolek came back for his last year.  Always good to have graduate degree.

What "reports"?

The fact that you refer to "The Michels" proves that you don't know what you are talking about.

There was only one person in that family that went to Marquette.  The rest are St. Norbert's grads.
Have some patience, FFS.

DoctorV

You're right I don't, so why don't you tell me?

If "reports" are wrong then at worst they, or he, gets big credit for Shaka without doing much

I could probably find out if I wanted, but it's none of my (or anyone else's) business.

Have some patience, FFS.

Ewing?

There were some very nice supporters that felt a change was needed and those very nice supporters are still around. MU will not lose a played they want to keep very often, aside to the NBA. The money is there, and that is a fact.

Ewing?

Looks like no, but Chris Mullen!

Pat split with Mullen 2x though.

Funny thing is that Ewing was 4x BE defensive POY and 3x 1st team All American, but lost to Mullen that first year he was a 1st team AA and then split the next two.

So, we would be going back to 82-85, 40 years ago.

Great to hear Goose, thanks for sharing.

The way Tyler is playing, and he definitely knows ball, it'll be hard to keep him around because that NBA 1st round will come calling if he keeps it up.

That said, his love for Marquette and especially Shaka, and NIL being in play actually makes it a possibility still, so that's great

There are folks on here that do not believe MU can be competitive in NIL and I firmly disagree. I would say that if TK wanted to come back and MU wanted TK back, we will all could rest easily that it would be mission accomplished. MU will lose guys from time to time, but I believe we will lose more guys to the NBA than transfer.
That said, I am simply talking about guys they want to keep, not guys that might not get a lot of playing time.
