Refs are always brutal and inconsistent. Their calls didn't advantage Butler one bit.

I disagree, refs have been good of late. I like when they "let them play" a little. Butler didn't take advantage, but we tried very hard to give it to them.

Great win.

House money on Saturday.

Yup. I really cant see us winning in their place.

I just hope its a great game. Would be a letdown for the hype to have it be like last year at their place.

Hoping some bozo Uconn fans say something dumb and fuel the beast though, all bets are off then.

The refs were not a problem at all. Marquette had so many because they reached all night. Good thing they were just better.

That's not what people were complaining about. Of course, you refuse to criticize the refs even when it's deserved.

Difficult challenge but we're absolutely more than capable of beating them.

No. I refuse to criticize the refs because it's a loser's lament. They didn't have an impact on this game at all. And they hardly ever do.

I thought they called a tight but fair game for Marquette.

I thought they called a loose game for Butler, especially in the first 17min of the first half.

Marquette was reaching all half. So many dumb fouls.

Of course winning on the road is challenging, but do you really believe UCONN is a better team this year than they were last year?  And are we better or worse?  My feeling is we are trending toward being better than last year's team and I'm not sold UCONN is better than their squad last year.

Look at UCONN's schedule this season - a good win against UNC, and I guess Gonzaga?  They did beat Texas too, but lost to Kansas.

I guess you're just another one to ignore when it comes to actual basketball discussion. Thanks for making it easy.

Tbh I just think they are a tough match up(not that this doesnt apply to most teams they play) and on the road I just dont feel good. Obviously not a 100% loss.  And we have yet to win there since they returned so kinda a believe it when I see it.

Tough call on both whether both teams are better or not. I think we have more upside then last year with the added development of guys and Tk being in savage mode in full on ball duty. Need Kam to get healthy/mentally locked in tho.

Uconn might be better imo. Clingan is more of a difference maker on both ends, Karaban is much improved and I think Spencer is really damn good.

Either way, not afraid to play them on a neutral floor in April when it truly matters.

MU is a much better team than last year. They have been built over a three year period and ready to play anyone in the country. Saturday is a big game, but there will be bigger games before TK retires.
