The not reading thing was because he wasn't on the graphic of players who earned a 3.0 or more.

The Jan 6 thing is probably just because he looks the part I guess.

Sultan,

What does looks the part mean?  I sincerely don't know.

When Kolek shushed the crowd after that three last night, I knew we would win. No one feeds off negative crowd energy more than that guy. He's like a Dementor, sucking fan souls to fuel his power.

It means there were a lot of white, clean cut men at the January 6th protest/riot at the Capitol building.

Obviously the Jan 6th chant is 100% related to that event.

Yeah and I'm just guessing. I have no idea otherwise.

It was funny for a minute talking about Nick Bosa, but it quickly became one of the most tired tropes in social media.  Its literally every white dude in CFB/NFL or CBB/NBA that has shine for a moment and then the same lame joke gets recycled.  Whats even sillier is then people go batty and think there is something behind it and go looking for tweets or quotes that make the player look culpable.  It coming from lame ass PU fans is not remotely surprising.

I know they are college kids and MU students have chanted a bunch of dumb stuff, but jeering and then chanting airball (after a desperation heave mind you) at the reigning POY who already has 25 is stupid enough, but anyone who has watched a MU game in the last 2 years knows he thrives off of that.  Its like chanting air ball at Steph Curry and calling him soft.

And Marquette fans are fighting back at PC fans.

LOL. PC does have a very large twitter presence and love to troll. Definitely second biggest on twitter right behind UConn, but they are definitely the biggest trolls by far.

That's it?  He's white?  Not very clever.  They could have taunted themselves.

Its nice to have a player that the Big East fan base despises. Wasn't there a thread about the most despised players we played against?

I still prefer UConn Twitter to Providence Twitter.

UConn fans are cocky (rightfully so) but they still support the Big East knowing a good Big East benefits them as well.

Providence fans seem to want every Big East team to suck with no regard for anything.

Also, UConn account @noescalators is a great follow.  Loves to get in Marquette and Kolek jabs in but even he had to give Tyler props last night.

I agree and have posted the same in the past. The point was driven home when I saw the two of them talking after the Creighton game last month.

Edited to add: there's a pretty good chance that Kolek (609) will pass Diener (617) on the all-time assist list this weekend. That will put him in third behind James (632) and Miller (956!).

To the board: Rank MU's point guards?  I have always been a Dom James guy because of his defense.

Shame Tyler (likely) won't do 4 years at MU. This is probably the only time anyone could've touched Millers assist record. That and Mac's block record are the two most untouchable and I don't know which is less likely to be matched.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Scoring record isn't getting touched anytime soon.  Between blocks and assists, I would guess blocks is more likely to be challenged eventually.

Well given it was only broken a couple years ago and again not long before that it didn't seem like it should be included. But I agree it's highly unlikely that gets touched unless we get a carbon copy of Markus who doesn't get concussed or makes a tournament run.

Not if Shaka keeps recruiting guys like OMax.

Dom James was a great PG and I loved how he played defense. He was an outstanding player. To be honest, that is the type of PG I think that will run the show post TK.

I'll just rank who I think is the best, post Al, and that is TK by a wide margin. I know there are a lot of Tony Miller fans on here, but he is at least #4 on my post Al list. Will add, I am strictly grading off on court performance and TK is the best, imo. He has orchestrated what I believe to be the most beautiful offense ever run at MU. I do not think I will ever see an offense this perfectly tun (when clicking) again in my lifetime.
