Better than lower third,  54th best in the country (85th percentile). We're very good at defending without fouling.

But we're 324th in offensive FTR (10th percnetile). It is impressive with how much we score in the paint but it's misleading. Us scoring in the paint so often is due to our efficiency there (14th in 2P%) rather than our attempts (298th in 2PA/FGA). We shoot a lot of threes and a lot of the twos we get are wide open with no contact

The topic is Big East officials. MU has the fourth lowest defensive FTR but lowest offensive FTR (now) in conference. Kolek and Kam get bodied hard on the dribble drives without calls, more so this year without Omax. The rest I agree with.

I said in game threat I think TK gets screwed 1-2 times a game by the refs on clear bumps that should be 2 free throws instead of a missed lay up. But thats about it.

Kam is great in the paint but hes all finesse and usually stepping around guys. Hes even noted it being a problem through his career.

TK occaisionally is really the only time we ever get the shaft on calls on offense. We just dont draw contact.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

This is true. Providence and Seton Hall play bully ball and hunt contact. We (in general) look to avoid it.

Tyler's FTR in conference is down from 37 to 27.  No AA Jordan Rules treatment from Driscoll and his Merrie Men.

I bet MU is dead last on midrange shots, suxs!

Don't worry Newsie, about halfway through the national championship game Shaka will say "now" and the mid range shots will fly.  The opponent won't know why to do.  Just like Rocky.
