Lloyd Austin/ Sec of D

This story is beyond bizarre.  WTF?  Have you ever heard of a cabinet member not disclosing a hospitalization/health issue for 4 days?

Yes

Apparently no one in the White House knew which is rather difficult to fathom.

Have you ever heard an ex-president arguing in court for the right to murder his political enemies?

I know, not as crazy as a sick guy going to the hospital, but still…,

Austin was wrong.

Yes, he absolutely was.

I was just pointing out the absurdity of what bothers people the most.

Usually it's the president talking about how he had the best covid you've ever seen.

But seriously, this feels like ground for immediate dismissal.

I could say something snarky about how Tunerville didn't think the military needed generals or admirals, so what is the big deal about Austin?

But, no, Austin messed up badly.

What exactly does this have to do with Austin?

Because Biden can have Austin killed because he’s president and it’s ok per the constitution.  Hope he doesn’t but legally, he can

So does Eleanor Roosevelt.

Make sure it doesn't happen again.

That rarely happens at that level.   If Biden is happy with Austin in general, then it will be a butt chewing and a clarification of protocols and expectations.    If Biden has been pondering a change anyway, this is a ready made reason to do it now.

Or Austin can resign.

Just a distraction from real issues. Get everyone outraged so they ignore the real problem.
