Just a distraction from real issues. Get everyone outraged so they ignore the real problem.

What's the "real problem"?  And is there only one?

The ex-president argued in court TODAY that the president has the right to murder his political enemies.

But you are outraged by a mistake from the Defense Secretary. Hmmm.

Seems like the least of this country's problems.

Did I state I was outraged?  We all know that everything that has happened under this administration is Trump's fault.  If he didn't exist this would be a flawless 3 yrs.

Honestly, seems like a moderate issue getting way blown out of proportion.

So, pro-murder or anti-murder?

I'm supposed to be surprised if Trump or his legal team says something stupid?

There are two regional conflicts with global implications. Big lib here, but your DoD secretary going MIA for 3 days is a problem for the administration, and it's a problem of transparency for the American people

This really isn't a partisan issue. And he was never MIA, he was at Walter Reed, a military facility.

Some protocol issues need to be revised. There are way bigger fish to fry than this. Really not that big of a deal.

This sort of thing is never a "big deal". Until it is.

It really IS the easiest question ever?

Austin should be dismissed or resign.

The 91 felony Criminal Defendant should never be allowed to hold public office again.

Both can be true.

"Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism." - George Washington

"In a time of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." - George Orwell

That rarely happens at that level.   If Biden is happy with Austin in general, then it will be a butt chewing and a clarification of protocols and expectations.    If Biden has been pondering a change anyway, this is a ready made reason to do it now.

Or Austin can resign.

It's possible Biden doesn't even know who the guy is

Unbeknownst to the President and his aides. So MIA or AWOL, whichever you prefer. Not a partisan issue, but a very big deal.
