Did they lose Clingan when they were going 2-6 for most of a month last season?

I'll answer that for you - nope! They also had Sanogo, Hawkins, Karaban, Newton, Jackson and the rest of the team that had gotten off to a hot start before the 2-6 stretch and that rebounded from the 2-6 stretch to win the national title.

Even real good team lose sometimes, especially on the road.

Is it OK for some of us to not panic at least till we get to January?

I don't understand why you or anyone else cares when I or anyone else disagree with those over-the-top negative opinions.  It is a public message board, after all.  If you don't like it just roll your eyes and move on.

Usually I do ignore them but when they make factually inaccurate statements I'm more inclined to point that out.

UConn has had 1 stinker all season.

MU has had 4 stinkers. 3 of them in the last 5 games.

There are legitimate concerns with MU right now (assuming you expect them to be high seed this season) and UConn playing their first bad game of the season has nothing to do with MUs struggles.

It doesn't mean that it's irrevesible or that we are doomed but dismissing it as "one bad game" when 33% of our games have been bad games (and another 33% have been cupcake blowouts) is illogical. 

We need Stevie back.  We need to limit sean jones minutes. We need Jop to go back to catch and shoot. We need Chase and Stevie to hit at least 33% of their open threes. We need to relearn how to pass in transition. Do even half that and we'll be a top 10 team again

I'd also remind folks that MU was down double digits to UCLA and Purdue. MU has the talent but not the consistency and cohesiveness.

Break is a chance to work on it but besides our shooting woes, teams have adjusted their defenses. Need to self-scout and adjust our tendencies as well. Two out of three shots in the paint are to the left, for example.
