Yes, there are a number of valid concerns for Marquette but some of the takes the last 24 hours have been wild.

Do the "crazier fans" include the ones who predicted MU to lose 2 or fewer games in the Big East and pull out the COLE label on anyone who expects them to lose more than that?

I can think of maybe one poster who predicted an 18-2 Big East record and he's one of the more knowledgeable ones here. That's no match for the typical overreactions after an ugly loss.

Do you count coming on to call people names and make mature comments about the size of their penis in the overreaction category?   We all handle our disappointment and frustration in various ways.  Some criticize the team.  Some choose to have the maturity of a middle school boy.  We all know which path you follow when disappointed and frustrated.

   we will see who the real men are and i just don't mean the players.  i mean some of the so called "fans" here on the board.  ya'll know who you are.  it's fair to criticize.  there is a difference between criticism and being dumb fair weather fans.  there are some on here i've never seen before...or only when something not so good occurs

I accept scoop to be scoop... but this is the one thing that drives me nuts.  This board is unreadable after many L's because of all the Scoop-roaches that come crawling out as if we just turned off the lights in a dirty motel room.  You never see them when the lights are on, but one loss and suddenly they blow up the board like it's the end of the world. 

It's insufferable at times, and takes away any interesting criticism/dissection of the loss that could be had.

I watched the second half. Samson Johnson (backup to Clingan) had hands of stone and he can't shoot the ball unless its a dunk. Karaban was atrocious as well. Just goes to show you that any team can be beaten on any night.  And its not like Seton Hall has a massive home court advantage like PC does.

But the notion that most of our non top 3 players shouldnt have auto green lights, its nuts. The numbers dont lie. And comparing them to a off night for Cam Spencer is flat out incompetent.
