Can't really argue Jop hasn't killed them out there today.

Joplin 1 for 8 from three so far. 

Got it to three, but turnovers and offensive rebounds were the killers in last seven minutes.

The rebounding isn't a big deal if you play at Marquette's preferred pace.  You can't play slow and get destroyed on the boards.

Team has no shooters.  Hasn't played with energy since Kansas.  Maybe a 2 seed, but not sure they have the success in the Big East this year to get that seed.  Probably a 3 or 4 seed, and maybe a Sweet 16.

Time to set aside the rankings and talk of being a Final Four contender and regroup.

Performances like today are more representative of a team that will be around .500 in the Big East.

Outrebounded by 15 by a team that is far from the toughest they'll be facing.

Maybe they'll be ready to play against Texas next week because they sure weren't today.

You are not going to win in March when you have three opportunities to take the lead and miss wide-open shots.  Someone needs to step-up offensively to pressure the other team.
