She's will be in a hoops craze state, B1G country, and have Aliyah Boston who is already pretty good as the number 1 draft pick last year.  I bet they'll get pretty good pretty quick, and will have a lot of interest.
Thanks for that. Again, I'm not up to speed on the WNBA.  Old guy here who has never watched a complete WNBA game, but have watched some of Caitlin recently.

It'll be interesting to see the transition.  This year the following nationally was boosted by 1) top ten NCAA team 2) her pursuit of the scoring record 3) the attraction of college basketball in a P6 conference.  She will be on a poor WNBA team in a smallish market.  Just my opinion, but how much interest is there in WNBA hoops?

As probably the most famous and marketable female team-sports athlete in America right now, Clark will sign a bunch of endorsement deals and make a ton of money before she ever has to step foot on a WNBA court. From what I've read, in the next year she could make 3, 5, even 10 times what she made in NIL.

But again, sustaining that level of endorsement income will require her to excel in the NBA - to remain not just a great player but an iconic one - so what she'll be making 2 or 4 or more years down the line, we'll just have to see.

Needed BYU to not gakk away that game to Iowa State. Wouldn't be surprised to see Iowa State supplant Marquette on the 2 line in a lot of bracketologists' brackets.

I think most have Iowa State supplanting Kansas on the 2 line, not Marquette.

I know Lunardi is reputably a hack, but he had Marquette on the 2 line for weeks and weeks and weeks ... and now has MU as a 3 and Iowa State as a 2. I've also seen a couple others in which MU is no longer a 2 but ISU is.

One of the best, Bracketville Press, has dropped Marquette to a 3 seed (9th overall).  A 3 seed is very realistic, but as long as Kolek returns that's our floor.

The path back to a 2 seed is pretty clear.  Beat Xavier, make BET final.  Anything less than that is probably a 3 seed.

But a 2 seed is likely in the South.  3 seed has a good chance to land in the Midwest.  Which path is ultimately better is open to debate and likely depends on our draw.

Sure they exist.  9 of the 113 brackets currently on bracket matrix have MU as a 3 seed.  Itll be a few more after the loss last night but not many.

In the end,  only the selection commitees matters

I'd feel better if there were a true Ball-Knower on the committee.

Rutgers off to a hot start.

Inspired by senior night, Madison is tied 49-49 with mighty Rutgers.

Will the second consecutive late-season collapse continue, or will Madison pull out a thrilling victory?

Selection Committee should consider McGee’s absence and give them a protected seed now that he’s back. Difference maker.
