Yes, he did.  Fended him off.   I will not change your mind, you shan't change mine.
Peace, out.

I guess someone fends off a non aggressor by pushing and tripping them.

He lingers on the floor when everything and their mother knows wake kids will be on the floor, intentionally trips a kid, gets “hurt”, and crybaby coach complains after the game. Supposedly morally superior fans defend him. Duke is so, so back!

The first kid, the one who hit his knee, taunted him.  After Filipowski was knocked off balance, a second WF student clearly pushed/punched him in the back.

Taunted him? Not sure how you can tell. Besides, Filipowski said he intentionally collided with him. He didn’t. The push in the back was intentional.

They come on the court, players should clock them.  Too bad he didn’t injure the fan

Filipowski agrees with you - too bad he channeled his inner Grayson Allen

Yeah, it was weak.  He should have done a Kermit Washington to the kid instead.  Maybe next time

I really have no problem with what filipowski did. I do have a problem with the clowns who claim he’s a victim with clear video evidence proving otherwise.

Doesn’t seem like a prudent move outnumbered 5,000 to 12, but to each his own. My point is simply that Filipowski claimed it was an intentional collision. It wasn’t.

The fault here is in Wake and the ACC.

If you made it to 20 beers before you puked, mad respect.

Seriously?? With the day drinking that the weekend brought 20 was no big deal. You ran with a different crew.

The USF coach should be considered for NCOY.  That's a pretty good team btw.

FAU should be firmly on the bubble. Their resume is terrible.

There was a game this week - I think it was LSU over Kentucky - where the winning basket was scored on a rebound after a blocked shot. The ball went in, the buzzer sounded and the fans stormed the court.

I'm quite certain that there were fractions of a second left after the ball cleared the net - maybe .2 to .4 - and had the fans not stormed the court, the game would not have been over. But with fans everywhere, the refs didn't even think about resuming the game. So I guess congrats to the fans for clinching the win!

Someone posted here that it should be an automatic tech with 2 FTs awarded to the road team.  An interesting idea that would only help in games decided by 1or 2 points.

Otherwise i think the only option is requiring schools to hire a massive amount of security and put up barricades any time a top 10 team comes to town.

I'm not sure theres a way to allow it with zero risk.  Maybe making an announcement at the last dead ball or as the home team is dribbling it out (if it's not a close game) that security will be blocking people from entering the court  at the buzzer but will allow them through after the other team is off the court.  Honestly doesn't seem logistically sound

As soon as a post game court storming causes a technical foul, and a subsequent loss, the rule is going to be roasted all over the place.

Its hard to hire enough security staff to keep a crowd off the floor, and I certainly don't think those people should be empowered to use any violence to enforce the rule.

How about an agreement by broadcasters not to cover it, schools not to promote it, and schools fining and/or rescinding the tickets of those who do it.

Anyway, it doesn't happen in the NBA or NFL so it can be enforced.

He’ll move them up in the rankings because that kind of loss is good for adversity
