All the teams behind us doing whatever it takes to help ensure we get a 2 seed no matter how we close out.

With that Ill loss we have to be pretty much locked into Indy.

Complete meltdown by Illinos at Penn St.

Penn State down 7 with 40 seconds left.

Unlike St. John's against Marquette, PSU didn't quit.

Hope Kentucky doesn’t fall to the 7 line and end up there.

Nightmare scenario imo

Why the hostility?

The Aztecs made the title game last year.

watch out for grand canyon university as they should make the dance...i wouldn't want to play them.  yes, WAC but they'd be tough match-ups for a lot of teams

Does that place still exist? Used to be one of our favorite downtown bars.

Hard to say Muggs, I haven’t seen enough of them but they will have a decent contingent in the dance so maybe I need to start watching.

Results wise, the problem is that they collectively as a group have only 1 impressive win- Colorado States beat down of Creighton.

Otherwise, they’ve beaten StMarys/Gonzaga and each other for the most part, so kind of hard to judge.

I probably wouldn’t hate if Marquette drew one in the second game but I hope it’s not SDSU- they are tough defensively and have challenged themselves, plus they’ve tasted victory so shouldn’t be in awe of the moment.

Of all the "second weekend" discussion here.  I hope Marquette can avoid a top #25 defensive team the first weekend.  They've proven they can prevail... But not consistently.

I could easily see us matching up with a MWC in the tournament so perhaps I will watch a few of these teams the next 3 weeks.

From Yahoo Sports, the feel-good story of the season:

Less than a year removed from his final chemo treatment, redshirt freshman Myles Rice is powering Washington State to its best season in 16 years‌.

The former three-star recruit out of Georgia leads the Cougars in points (15.9), assists (3.7) and steals (1.7), making the most of his first season on the court and third year in college.

After redshirting his first year, Rice appeared set to join the rotation last season before his world flipped upside down: He had Hodgkin's lymphoma.
The cancer diagnosis caused him to miss another season while undergoing twice-a-month chemotherapy from October until March 2023.

Last June, Rice got the call that his cancer was in remission. Now he's the team's unquestioned star, earning Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors a record-tying seven times.

Mason stormed for beating Dayton

They were celebrating TK's assist record.

That was their first home win over a ranked opponent. Likely because they rarely play ranked teams at their place.

Purdue-Rutgers, officials are technical happy.   Players make 3s in front of the opposing benches, chat with the opposi g benches, and get t'd up.    Two weak sauce calls.

Really enjoying how awful IU is. Never liked the program and then developed some close friendships with a couple of fans that are delusional enough to still think it’s a blue blood.
