South Carolina’s road to the number 1 seed got a little rockier with a 1 point home loss to unranked LSU.

Oklahoma had Kansas ... until they didn't. On the road, KU outscores the Fightin' Mosers by 15 in the second half.

UCLA is only going to make the tournament by winning out the regular season and probably beating arizona again in the conference tournament. There NET is currently 102. I believe it would crack the top 75 if they were to win out which includes beating Arizona at home. Anything other than winning out there NET will not crack 90.

Maybe, maybe if they win out and get to the Pac-12 title game they could get an at-large, but UCLA's best hope of making the NCAA Tournament is winning the Pac-12 tourney. None of the wins they've had in this 8/9 winning streak move the needle significantly, and those losses to Cal State Northridge, Stanford, and California at home aren't going anywhere from their resume.

This is just the regular season for FAU, they don’t really care until the playoffs.

Johnell “Jihad” Davis knows that the eyes that matter will only be watching in the big dance, and he’s been there done that before.

So, in that sense, that’s a mid range seeded team that I would want nothing to do with

I don’t know why people think college basketball is the NBA.

It is funny to see the Boilers fall apart when Edey has to go,to the bench for a few minutes with two fouls.

Some commentators (Bilas leads the charge) love to fawn over Edey as the “best”  player in college basketball.

I prefer to think of him as the most “impactful” player. In my book the “best” player has skills beyond being way taller than everyone else.

He’s the best player in college basketball. And it’s not even that close.

Holtmann was clearly the issue.

Edey does have skills beyond being way taller than everyone else. If height was all it took, Jamarion Sharp and Tacko Fall would've been NPOYs too. Edey is skilled and savvy. He's a generational player.

I would enjoy seeing Edey and Clingan matched up in the national semifinal.   With the winner to face MU.

You should know what I mean.

Sure, he has skills beyond just being tall, but there are a lot of players whose skills are much greater.

That’s why I prefer the word “impactful”.

And the obligatory court storming.

Some real crocodile tears from the Boilers about calls in the last minute.

I guess when you’re used to 45-5 edges in free throws it must be frustrating to only have four times as many FTs as the opponent until you start fouling intentionally.

I know that people constantly use stuff like this to underrate Edey and try to discredit him as a player. He's awesome. He puts pressure on opposing offenses like no other player because of his interior dominance and his ability to draw fouls. He's a great defender who has improved markedly not just at protecting the rim but being able to move and defend without fouling. We constantly see college offenses trying to be more and more like the NBA, and the NBA is going away from players like Edey, yet he continues to dominate like no one in 40 years. He's going to be the first NPOY to repeat since Sampson and is doing so in runaway fashion both times. And it's not just because he's taller than everyone else.
