Did you just see Buzz walk to half-court??

MuggsyB

Awful officiating in the New Mexico/UNLV game.  Rebels are getting hosed.

This Tenn loss is just a continuation of a really great night for Marquette right? Let's just one up the few teams ahead of us on the S curve 1 at a time. I'm a simpleton and consider our team superior to Tenn just because of Maui, but that tournament was so awesome a lot of great teams didn't even get to see each other

Good to see some of the old Buzz quirkiness back.

I believe MU should be #4 Monday.  Fk Kansas.

Then use your vote wisely.

Tower, we essentially destroyed them head to head.  Maybe I'm biased but I think we have a strong case.

We also want Colorado to beat Zona.

Text or email as many voters as you can to make the case.

Somewhere between 4-8. Marquette, Tennessee, Arizona, North Carolina, and Kansas are essentially equal.

If I had to guess the current order, it would be:
4. Arizona
5. Kansas
6. Marquette
7. North Carolina
8. Tennessee

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Is Bracket Matrix used by anyone?  I was just curious.  Ty.  We're 7th right now.

Bracket Matrix is a good tool to use to get "the wisdom of the masses". But it lags. The current version incorporates brackets as old as 2/4. A lot has happened since 2/4. For example, Wisconsin is still listed as the top 3 seed despite their huge skid. This is at least partially due to several brackets from 2/4 and and 2/5 having them as a 2 seed. Take those away and Bucky falls

Caitlin Clark should return to Iowa next year.  She'll probably make 10-15 mill.

"Traditional" bigs and super star women both worth way more in CBB.  She's so "fortunate" to be doing this in today's NIL world...obviously well deserved.

She's incredibly skilled and a lot of fun to watch.  I think she'll pump some juice into the WNBA but not like she would if she came back for another year.

I look at the Bracket Matrix but, in addition to the time lag issue mentioned by TAMU, it's hard to distinguish entries from people who are good at it from those who might just be copying Lunardi or someone else and tinkering with it to put in their own opinions instead of trying to predict what the Selection Committee will do.

I look more at sites like Bracketville and the brackets posted by Brewcity77 on the Paint Touches site. They both include seed lists, not just seeds or a bracket.

Bracketvlle has been very good the last couple years and it's updated daily. And, Brew does well too.

Bracket Matrix is great when you get to the end of the season. The problem is it always has too much old data in there. The way wins and losses impact the bracket, anything more than 2-3 days old is outdated, and that's usually about half the matrix.

This time of year, it's best to give you an idea of who should be on the radar. If you're looking for brackets to really hone in on, I'd say Bauertology, Bracketometry, T3, 801, and Graham Doeren are all really worth following. Delphi Brackets is another good one. And I agree on Bracketville, Dave Ommen does a great job.
