Klesmit threw his head into the Purdue playrs arm

IL Warrior

Looked like Klesmit grabbed Gillis so he could ram his face into Gillis's elbow looking for a flagrant.

This is absolutely insane.

Purdue will still go down earlier than expected in the tournament because of their inability to handle pressure.

Nice to see the flop is still part of BADgers game.  Klesmit ran into his elbow

You have the most unstoppable force in college basketball.   Throw a freaking lob for the inbounds.   Jim McIlvane is still open.

Plus he's a 70% FT shooter.

Purdue is a disaster under pressure.

Yes.  Part of the reason I don't trust them in the tournament.

So what's the tally for top 15 team's records this week?  A lot of losses again this week.

Very instructive game.

++ Scoopers who lamented a few weeks back that Madison had a clear path to the Big 27 title ... well yeah ... if they could beat Purdue twice and avoid road upsets to bad teams. I mean, we have a clear path to the BEast title as long as we beat UConn twice and avoid any more upsets.

++ It was fun to watch Madison experience the kind of shooting woes we did in our losses. I think they were 0-for-10-ish from 3 in the second half.

++ What a bunch of whiners and floppers. Some things never change.

++ Madison is a good team. There are dozens of good teams. They are light years from great. They could win a few games in March or go out in the first weekend. The same can be said about Marquette. I doubt we'll play Madison in the NCAAT, but I'd prefer a game against them on a neutral court to a game against any number of other teams.

++ Purdue has obvious strengths but also glaring weaknesses, continuing the trend of there being no truly great teams in college basketball this season.

++ It would be A-OK for me if we're the #2 seed in the region where Purdue is #1 (or even better, vice versa). I'd expect us to beat them. Take them away from their friendly home refs, and they're just another good to very good team.

++ It will be lovely to see the polls tomorrow showing us ahead of Madison again. As it should be.

Marquette will never recover from that loss in Madison

How the hell is Wisconsin rated #6 and beat us this year? Supposedly we have a better coach, better recruiting, and better talent. Yet we are sucking their hind tit.
Tired of Wisconsin Vadgers.

uw-Madison has a lot of experience and were able to bring in a transfer from a better conference.

Marquette is in the top ten, 17-5, 8-3 in league and won 6 in a row

Thanks, Willie

We won't be favored at Creighton. So if we win 2 against UCONN and avoid any other upset we'd still need UCONN to lose another game to win the BE.

We already got Purdue away from their friendly confines. They just beat a very good Wisconsin team on the road. They're a great team. Home, away, or neutral.

ya and they had more wins in their postseason tournament last year than we had in ours.

Kentucky couldn't have lost at home to UNC-Wilmington because Kentucky supposedly has a better coach, better recruiting and better talent.

There never ever ever are any inexplicable upsets in college basketball. Any time one team beats another, it's because the winning team has a better coach, better recruiting and better talent and the losing team is sucking their hind tit.

I can't fking stand them.  I thought the end of the game WAS very instructive in amplifying their colossal douchebaggery on a number of levels.

Long ways away. Could be favored at CU
