Players already slipping around in Providence.

Get your sh!t together with this court/arena. This is the big leagues. If you’re putting players’ health at risk every time you play a home game you should go to playing games in an empty practice gym.

Was going to post the same. What a joke.

Every whistle they have staff running out onto the court to wipe it up. Just insane that they haven’t figured out a solution. This has been going on for years.

Which is why they play basketball inside a covered, indoor gym.

Is a Kansas win or loss better for Marquette?  Coming down to the wire at Iowa St.

Kansas losing is always a good thing.

In a vacuum, yes.  But for seeding can we pass them?  Will that win continue to be amazing if they lose a few?

Going to be another day of top 15 teams going down.

7 Kansas lost
11 Oklahoma lost

I can’t see 9 Arizona and 6 Kentucky losing and possibly 12 Duke at home

Did the referees decide to institute the no traveling rule again?

And they'll probably move up 5+ spots.  What a joke.

Jerry Palm, not to mention Brew, has MU as a 2 seed.   R-E-L-A-X.   MU could be anywhere from 7-12.    It doesn't matter.

Duke bailed out by the refs again what a shocker.
End of game officiating was questionable, but Duke was also getting plenty of help from Clemson's Ian Shieffelin.

With 2:06 remaining and Clemson holding a 4 point lead, Shieffelin grabbed a defensive rebound. The next 1:51 went like this:
CLEMSON: Shieffelin turnover (2:02)
DUKE: Filipowski missed jumper (1:56)
CLEMSON: Shieffelin turnover (1:37)
DUKE: McCain made layup (1:32, Clemson leads 69-67)
CLEMSON: Shieffelin turnover (1:06)
DUKE: McCain missed 3 (0:53)
CLEMSON: Shieffelin turnover (0:25)
DUKE: Filipowski made layup, fouled by Shieffelin, made free throw (0:15, Duke leads 70-69)

That's 4 consecutive turnovers, punctuated by fouling to create a 3 point play to give up the lead. Some of the turnovers were absolutely mind-numbingly dumb.

Oklahoma is #11?  They lost to the best team they played and their best win is Providence I guess?  They just getting benefit of being a big name school with 1 loss?  Cause their computer numbers aren’t any good

This aged well.  But what’s crazy is how much it shows what a joke polls can be.

Since this post on Jan 6, they were 2-4 with losses to TCU, Texas, KU, and now TT.  They obviously will drop like a rock after going 0-2 this week. But the fact that they were still 11 this week after going 2-2 since that post and losing comfortably to the only good teams they played is a joke
