Almost cost us the game. Inexcusable.
Frankly I blame the easy an open shots missed for almost costing MU the game

It's been awhile since I've seen refs swallow the whistle like the have in this Bama-Auburn game.  Guys getting DRILLED in the lane on both sides with no call

What I saw of the Providence-Seton Hall game, it was like rugby out there.

The result is good for MU in the t-25.  :)

More importantly, resume-wise, that's a Q3 loss for Arizona.

The bottom fell out of their NET ranking. Going from 3 to 4

NET doesn't matter, Q3 losses hurt resumes.

This is correct. Arizona is certainly off the 1-line for now and not even very comfortable as a 2-seed. Because of the Pac-12's weakness, their only opportunities to move the needle are at Oregon tomorrow and the Mountain road trip. They are probably looking at a 3-4 seed in the tournament considering their resume and remaining schedule.

Would you still have them ahead of us on your S-Curve right now?

I would think so, but just barely.  The 6 Q1 wins is still really good, but I haven't looked at their schedule to see what chances they have to add to it, and we'll certainly have our opportunities.

With luck I'll have an answer later today. At a quick glance, I'd lean Arizona, but it's close. The Q3 loss stands out as a blemish, but as you said, the 6-3 Q1 record is very good. I prefer their win column but our loss column. When it comes to NCAA seeding, wins usually trump losses.

Thanks, looking forward to the new bracket.

FOr now, but with the way they are playing they may pick up more bad losses, with as Brew said minimal chances for more good wins.

They are very fortunate they pulled out that UCLA win last week.

This year is college basketball is just weird. Winning on the road has never been an easy task but this year it seems almost impossible if you play on the road against a team with a pulse. Over the last 3 weeks there had to have been at minimum 15 upsets on the road. I don't think anyone is safe come NCAA tournament time.

Hilarious that the same people that were crying about not being allowed to go out and "live their life" during the pandemic are the same ones that stay couped up in the suburbs because of the big scary city and the fact that if they come anywhere close to it they'll surely be gunned down.

But also, guns aren't a problem in this country.

The James Harden travel that never gets called somehow.  Markus did it a decent amount too.

Arizona has some clean uniforms.

Can someone please provide this Scooper with a map to the Superbar? It would seem he is lost.

If I were not going to be at the Seton Hall game tomorrow, I'd be watching the Providence vs Georgetown game. Cooleys first game back in Providence,

Atmosphere before tipoff will be wild.
