Missouri hasn't beaten anyone.  They looked pretty good against Kansas but they're seemingly not a threat to do much in the B12

Missouri lost a lot of players. But Gates has a top 5 class (5 players) next year for 2024 and a recent top 20 recruit for 2025 who committed two weeks ago.

UCLA has cut a 20 point deficit to 4 against Maryland with 6 minutes left.

Definitely not a threat to do anything in the B12. I’d imagine they won’t win a single Big Twelve conference game.

I didn't write that.  But let's be fair and realistic.

I knew Kim English looked young to be coaching Providence. But winning 30 games this season playing at Mizzou, and still finding time to coach the Friars, is quite the feat. He must have football team energy.

Wades is right. Not only will Mizzou not win a single B12 conference game, they won’t even participate in the B12 tournament.

LOL Muggsy error tricked my mind too.

Oh well, WVU is about the only team I think I would bet on Mizzou against so at least that part stands.

I still remember Huggy Bear getting tossed in a game after a temper tantrum that resulted in T#2, going into the tunnel and then coming back out to rant some more before leaving for good. He was lucky the cops did not cuff him.  ;D

Oh wait! They did, but for DWI.

They won’t have a great team this year but they will win some games.

Bryce Drew recently only lasted only 3 seasons at Vandy after going 0-18 in SEC play. He had some injuries to key players like Garland etc…and the new AD didn’t help with the quick hook. He wasn’t as bad of a coach as his record that season.

But Drew underestimated the importance of competing later in a down season to keep his job. He wrongly thought he would get a pass for that season. People there still discuss it. And most agreed with the decision.

So I would expect Gates to find a way to win a some league games until they reload the next few seasons with strong classes.

You missed the point. Muggs said they’ll struggle in the Big 12. Mizzou hasn’t played a Big 12 conference game for over a decade. They could be the best team or program in the history of college basketball and they would not win a single Big 12 conference game this year.

Actually, no I didn’t miss the point. You missed mine.

I understood your joke to Muggsy. That’s why I referenced Kim English. The last year Mizzou played in the Big 12 was 11 years ago when, wait for it, Kim English played on that 30 win team.

A different poster posted about something entirely different which was about whether or not Mizzou would win any league games in the SEC. So I responded to that separately.

Zona is throttling FAU early. I'd like to get a guy like Ballo in an MU uni.

FAU with a Marquette-esque 16 to 4 run to start the 2nd half.

Ballo now 3-9 FG.  Oso is better.

Reading Twitter and there are Louisville fans (a lot of them) dead set on Shaka and think they have a realistic shot to hire him.
