I am thinking 28-3 is more realistic, but on a game-by-game I like my record (I'm sure we all would). Toughest call for me is game 3 of Maui, as I think Purdue/Tennessee will be very tough. But I'm going with revenge on Purdue for the game we almost had at their house last year.

I saw a presentation a few years ago that said Futurists are wrong 90%+ of the time. Yet, they keep grabbing headlines as they are good for views by being provocative. Jaime Dimon is a great example.

I agree with this 100%. I would rather have a UCONN type year of not winning anything in the BE and win the NCAA. A mid season struggle in the BE could create a more focused team.

I believe they will be ranked #1 for more than one week prior to the NCAA.

I think part of the reason for optimism is that the struggle against Michigan St last year is the only struggle they'll need to keep focused this year.

I noticed a lot of L's for the road game at Illinois but also the one at St. Johns. I get it. Never underestimate Slick Rick.

I agree Big Time, Goose. I still remember the sheer ecstasy from 1977 and, I must confess, lost hope during the Wojo years that I would ever see us win another one.
