Xander may not survive the first hole.

Bouncing back.

His re-gripping early reminded me of Bethpage Sergio.

Can't hit a fairway with his driver today.

I don’t think Scheffler will go backward in the Final Round. He is cool as a cucumber out there . My guess is The leaders will feel the pressure and come back to the field.

If he has a couple more holes where he doesn't have to putt....

Ill admit Im surprised that Rickie has stuck around this long.  Usually his melt day is Saturday.

But tomorrow will be fun, tons of storylines.  Rickie back from the wilderness.  Rory trying to break his born-again Winless in the Majors streak.  Wyndham looking for his first.  Scottie lurking.  Even DJ isn't entirely out of it 5 back.

Speaking of fun, having major championship golf on at 9CST/10EST was pretty cool and unique.

Clark blames his late bogey and Fowler's late bogey on finishing in the dark.   IMO, it was the marine layer descending as much as the time of day, but the announcers commented on the flat light on the greens on the last few holes.   Easy to miss subtle breaks.

The penalties for being in the rough and bunkers seem to be averaging a stroke. However there doe not  seem to be many double bogey holes  . With the wide fairways , it seems like there are many opportunities for birdies with good approach shot

I think some near the top can shoot a 67 and win it.

I talked to my contacts in the Team Euro camp.  They love the way the American team is shaping up.

I’ll be surprised if anyone not in the top-4 wins.  Fowler hasn’t had a bad stretch of golf through 54 holes and minimized any damage.  His bugaboo through the years has been avoiding others on the scorecard during tournaments.

Clark hasn’t been in the heat of a moment like this yet.  Is he a Lucas Glover or one of many final pairing surprises that fades?  I’m kind of pulling for him since most fans will be cheering for Rory or Fowler.

Rory hasn’t closed in a major in 9 years.  There is a lot of scar tissue.  He’s been pretty consistent this week but will the wedges abandon him?

Scottie is the best of the bunch but the putter is a massive concern.  Can he make short par saves, much less birdies?

Fascinating stories abound.  Rahm bullied Brooks at Augusta, Brooks returned the favor to Viktor at Oak Hill.  Majors have been compelling so far and today sure seems to have the ingredients

course seems a little too "gimmicky" for me.  i guess if you have to cram a "championship" course for the well heeled near a big city, this is what you get...they for got the windmills and clown mouths

NBC coverage is an abomination.  I mean, it’s terrible.  Range shots, players being announced, sappy pieces but hardly any golf.  Sky Sports runs circles around them

Rickie starting out a bit shaky on a couple of shots. Wyndham and Rory playing with some confidence.

I get the feeling Rory is going to have a good round, but get beat again by Clark having a better round. Just  like last years Open Championship where  Cam Smith played incredible down the stretch.

He told Rico that he was optimistic.

I talked to his agent this morning and he felt confident.

Sort of interesting following on social media and seeing people bummed he’s playing so well thus far.  Opportunities have been there for the other leaders.  They haven’t played as well.  No one is getting crowned through 7 holes

EDIT: 🤷🏼‍♂️
