Rodgers did not play first exhibition. Jets also holding him out of practice in bad weather , which is not pleasing Aaron.

The "immunized" incident may have been the time when the PUBLIC perception of him changed, but there were obviously signs that he had a difficult personality even before that. He is a complex person for sure.

I actually wonder if he'll be the guy never to come back to Green Bay. Everyone knew Favre would be back. Not sure about him.

I feel he was starting to get some eye rolls toward the end of the McCarthy era.

Jets and Panthers did joint workout yesterday. Rodgers got picked off twice. By the Panthers. He's doomed.

He was. For the most part I think all GB fans knew he was a jamoke, but he kept playing well enough that his jamoke-ness could be overlooked.

It's the classic thing where your off-field issues can be tolerated for as long as they don't eclipse your on-field performance. When that balance starts to go the other way though...

Not sure Green Bay fans knew he was "inept" but I'm assuming you meant a diva/weirdo.

But even then most Green Bay fans I knew at any pointing out of his personal shortcomings would say you had Rodgers derangement syndrome.

Yeah, every Packer fan thought he hung the moon up until he left. I don't see anything wrong with that. But to claim GB fans had soured on him years ago is a full history rewrite. (Maybe there are secret Packer fan clubs that met to air their concerns but are sworn to a Illuminati oath to not make public.)

I think a fair number of fans had second thoughts about him as a dude, while still appreciating what he did on the field.

Plus, until Lafleur was hired, he developed some pretty bad habits that lead to poor results. His footwork was pretty bad.

Also, that and he was switching the play all the time. Even under Lafleur the offense ran better when Rodgers was bought in. I think they changed it quite a bit to Rodgers' liking (far less motion) his last year and it was a mess.

"Making a comeback from that kind of injury isn't easy for any player, but Rodgers is now 40 years old. Due to his age and the severity of the injury, there are many who don't think the future Hall of Fame quarterback can get back to playing at the level he was before the injury."

I don't think that's even a realistic possibility. That doesn't mean he can't be effective. (See Tom Brady in Tampa.)

I soured after he turned every third and short play call into a 30 yard downfield pass....

Everyone knew he was a weirdo. Not everyone knew exactly how weird, but anyone who claims they thought he was a swell down to earth old chum is lying.

Everyone was cool with him being a weirdo because he was an mvp quality qb. When the quality dipped, the tolerance for his weirdness went down.

This isn't complicated.

Sure your further explanation makes sense and you're probably mostly right. but that's not what you originally said in "all fans knew he was a jamoke".

That is good.   He was short on self love before.

Hopefully that doesn't cause him to injure his throwing arm.

Literally says non-ayahuasca ritual in the title.
In the weeklong ceremonies, there are a lot of high moments and a lot of difficult moments, but the goal is to find a deeper connection to yourself, to nature and to the people around you," Rodgers told Haute Time when discussing ayahuasca and other healing methods. "It's given me a lot of high doses of self-love, forgiveness, and gentleness — things that have really made a big impact on my life."

He's a jackass. But he is our jackass.

When he went to New York, he became their jackass. We didn't care anymore.

When Tom Brady went to Tampa, I could not believe the number of Patriots fans in Florida who were suddenly Tampa Bay fans. It was incredible.

Green Bay fans would never do that.

Farve could be an example of how GB fans will now perceive Mr. Rodgers.
