He could come back, just putting his name in.  Unless told to. If so, good luck to the player and his comeback from injury.

Wrightsil(presuming) plus Ellis means one under now.

zcg2013

Unfortunate he couldn't stay healthy this year, but I got a feeling he was going to struggle finding playing time next year. Best of luck to him.

We're not over the scholarship limit now.

Tyler COLEk

Hope he has a hell of a collegiate career wherever he lands.

Nope that means full.

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

Seemed inevitable.  The injury put him behind and we MU is very deep at guard.

Good luck, Emarion!

Very Unfortunate.  Wishing the young man all the best.

Was really looking forward to seeing him play.  Hope he lands somewhere that I can watch some of his games.  Big14Ten would be ideal.

Sorry it did work out at MU for him

First, here's hoping he recovers fully from all injuries. Second, here's hoping he lands somewhere he can get real playing time.

Some folks who worried a little too much about the scholarship situation can relax now.

Tha Hound

Think this is the best case scenario for all parties. Hope he bounces back and plays well for whatever program lands him.

Best of luck to him. If he ultimately does leave, I hope he finds a great situation. I also hope that despite the fact that he was injured, his time at Marquette provided some value to him. He seemed like a great kid off the floor and I really enjoyed some of the stuff MU released showing him interacting with people in the community.
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Bummed we never got to see what he was capable of because of injuries.  I hope he gets healthy and has success.

JamilJaeJamailJrJuan

This bums me out, but something had to give.

Why is Wrightsil not in the portal tho?

And can we get a much clearer thread title.  Had no idea this was going to be about Ellis in the portal.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Maybe he is just done with college
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

???

Actually, I think you <accidentally> are right.

Goose

From what I had heard most of the season, the Ellis transfer was expected. Hope he has success on and off the court. IMO, he is one of approx 15-20 guys that helped build the foundation at MU.

Mu8891

Hope he finds a place he can play ...
Good luck

But, obviously it is VERY unlikely he was ever going to play at MU

Unless...we did.

PGsHeroes32

Think he still has a lot of potential so bummer to lose him.

But assuming no surprise players leave, he was gonna have no chance at PT next year.
