KAM THOUGHTS

The BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM sequence, 7-7 and 3-3 from distance, with that ending dime, was enjoyable to watch.  :)

Willie knows ball. That second half is just going to feed his ego and will be detrimental in the long run.

Kam showed great discipline a few times after he got going in not forcing shots that he would’ve taken earlier.  Great decisions in the second half.

Outstanding point BLWarrior.  You could see that he wanted to pull the trigger early in the shot clock once he dropped 14 straight.  Credit to him for not forcing

When I saw Cam on the court in the second half, I threw a bottle of Gettleman’s at my Al McGuire photo where he was on the scorers table.

I assume Riko is mocking the crap out of Willie.

He is damn near unstoppable when he lets the game come to him and doesn’t force the three.

Like I said in the post game thread, it reminded me of DJames against Valparaiso or one of Markus' streaks.

True, true, BL. I said about 3 times to my watching group "In November, that goes up."

His not shooting on all of those occasions was correct.

On the other hand, I love his threes. When they dumped it for him and he was about 5-6' behind the arc to start the run, I thought that it was perfect for him -and it set him off. His serpentine drives to the rim are nothing we saw last year. He just took over.

Tournament, yes.  All time, no.

Johnny B, I am almost positive that DJames scored the final 19 against Valparaiso.

Recorded the game. Went back to re-watch Kams run. Love seeing historic moments in MU history like this.

Random question, and I apologize if it's been mentioned in past threads; but do you think in the off-season the coaches will work with him on that funky release like they did with TK this past off-season? I don't think he'd be as streaky with a release more like Jop. Just curious

How quickly we can forget.

Back in Dec 2018, Markus Howard put in 24 in a row against Buffalo.   On 12 possessions.
75-65 when it began and 99-79 when he was finished.  A little over 5 minutes of game clock time.

GAME PLAY-BY-PLAY
------------------------
7:11  79   3 pt + FT
6:38  82   3 pt
6:01  85   3 pt
5:26  -  Howard Turnover
4:59  87   2 pt in paint
4:33  89   2 FT
3:56  92   3 pt
3:29  -  Howard miss 3 pt
3:07  94   2 FT
2:25  -  Howard miss jumper
2:16  96   2 FT
1:44  99   3 pt
1:22  SUB OUT - Howard

1:13 101   jumper by Chartouny

In all, Howard scored 40 points in the second half.

Unfortunately neither of you have been successful. All I have to do is remind you both of your slurp love and excuse making  for Wojo, even when he was desperately flailing
But its OK now as you can cover that up by cheering on Shaka. Arrogance can always be forgiven, but often does one who has it ever loses it.
