I was just at the Island Resort Casino in Michigan.
They had some proposition bets that I found interesting.
I bet that Duke would go father in NCAA tournament than Baylor. Hoping I lose this one early. My betting record on these kinds of bets is very poor. So, I figured I was jinxing Duke.
I bet the highest scoring game would be over 188.5. Iffy, but there are 63 games.
I bet that the lowest scoring game would be over 100.5.

Broke my rule and placed a bet on MU. But I did cut the line down, because MU seems to give up a lot of points at end of games.

For Thursday, I’m going to take an alternate line on Furman at +9.5 parlayed with Mizzou ml, pays +200 on PB.

Kicks and Giggles Round Robin (2 team):
Furman -3.5 (+285)
Mizzou -4.5 (+180)
Howard +16.5 (+182)
Princeton 1st Half +5.5 (+142)
Auburn/Iowa O 157.5 (+168)
ORU -2.5 (+260)
Penn State 1st Half -2.5 (+172)

All lines for the RR from FD.

I really like the SEC in all the coin flip games.  Missouri getting a point from Utah State is super appealing.  I also really like Arkansas, Auburn, and TX A&M giving a point or two.

For me, SEC > Mountain West all day.

Over the last 2-3 years I have made a killing the first round by betting the Under on the first halves.

Maryland and WVU gonna hit the under (62.5)

My Virginia furman is on the ropes early (60)

My only bet so far is Virginia -5.5

Hopeful that this is one of those games where Viriginia silences their critics a bit.

Viriginia scoring early is never ideal for unders.

Lotta time for a UVA half to turn into a slog though

Pretty good strategy.  Especially the early games.

Thanks. Don’t know what it is. I always chalk it up to players not wanting to “lose the game” in the first half per say… but we’ll see cause now the Maryland comeback as you eluded to, might spike this bet.

The Pace to this game has allowed both teams to look like trash and have a shot at the over in the final minute.

Nothing will beat the 2021 tournament where first half unders were 15-1 on day 1 of the tournament that year (or something insane like that).

I got MU +450 to be the East Region Winner and +2500 to win it all.  Big spender.  I put $20 on each.

My son is in a calcutta and was saving money for MU but it turned out to be too expensive. (MU went for more than Kansas.) He ended up with UConn, Penn St., and the 4 lowest seeds in the South as a group. His low seed grouping has won 2 games so far so he's sitting pretty.

Calcuttas are super fun, and it’s funny how a random throw away team can save the game.  We got smoked on our big buys last year…but our 13-16 had St Peters which made an easily red year turn slightly green.  Similarly the first year we did it was the year Dayton made the E8 as an 11.  We tossed some leftover cash on them and between them and MSU, we had a really nice year.

The Round Robin ended up paying out at +200, which was nice, just missed on Wendell Green over 15.5 points (he had 15), which would have made for a great day.

I’m still studying tomorrows card, my initial inklings are getting too cute, need to sleep on it.

For any late night degenerates, the one wager for tomorrow that caught my eye is the first half under at 67.5 in Providence/UK on FD at -112.

DK has the total at 66 at -110 for comparison. That’s enough of a delta to catch my eye.
