Going through nlw's history, if you believe him, he is an MU grad, a former season ticket holder, who turned against MU when MU went woke.  Lovell, Theo, DJ Carton's mom, then hiring Shaka over Moser.  He absolutely did not want Shaka.  Just proof of wokeness.   And he was glad when Gard got into a dust up with his players, proving Gard wasn't woke.

I choose to take him at his word.  He hates his alma mater due to politics.
