Bought tickets tonight. I'll be there with my fiancé. Anyone else going to make it?

Take a client along and put the costs on your expense account.

Still involved with Godfather's Pizza, post-life?

Anyone going to Omaha should check out the restaurant "Gather" was fantastic food that imo could hold its own in much bigger cities and had a massive hydroponic farm in the basement where they get almost all their greens from.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Will be there from KC for our annual trip. Grudge Game. My wife is a Creighton Grad. Got tickets yesterday from Tickets for Less because the tickets that CU assigned to MU were terrible. Will be going to the pre-game reception.

Dickthedribbler

Amtrak Saturday A.M. Milwaukee-Chicago-Omaha. Sunday 2 casinos across the river in Council Bluffs. Monday barhop around the Old Market neighborhood in downtown Omaha. Tuesday game and game prep and celebrate win in hostile environment. Wednesday fly back to Milwaukeee and work on hangover.

Is there a MU pre-game?  If so how can I get more info about it?

Here you go...

FYI.  Registration says it's closed but email Kim. That's her deadline for a number for the hotel/venue contract but she usually has leeway to add a few.

It's been my experience that they get a lot of walkups for these types of events.  Drives the advancement folks crazy.

Yep. But she has to order the food and drink, and the final number via the contract is due 2-3 business days typically is the reason and the cost is per person plus or minus a percent. Treat Kim nice and she'll work her magic.

I know at the DePaul outing, they took no walk-ups as they were at the ballroom limit.

Kim is awesome. She bailed us out in Charleston last season. (No not that kind of bail).

Awesome plan, Omaha is a fun town.  I Amtrak to the BET every year and spend that travel day telecommuting.

This sounds like a ton of fun. I'm jealous! Enjoy yourself, and don't come home unless you're bringing a W with you!!

No offense, but you don't go to Omaha for the vegetables.

Starting from where? Just curious. My wife and I have a fairly easy ride starting in Charlottesville.

Of course people do. Tourists fall off the turnip truck every day there.

Just checked out the menu...it looks great. Plenty of meat and best of all plenty of good bourbon and scotch.
