Idk what that means, but all I said is they need to pick it up in the 2nd half or not lose to Creighton.

They did!

Not piling on but you post here a ton - how do you not know what that means?

He misses a lot of things like Shaka considered for coach awards.

No idea. Pile away.

By the way...did anybody see Hunter step over the line on that final inbounds pass? Clear as day.

Would love to see the replay.  I missed that.  But why no defender on the inbounder?   I don't get that. Yeah you have 5 coveting 4 but increase risk of foul, and they got the pass anyway! And got a shot off!

Pat Driscoll is horrid. Really poor game by this crew.

Even more obvious from the TV view and the ref was standing right there.  Can clearly see he stepped in play.  Wild.

The crew was awful tonight. 8 fouls the entire first half, then random ticky tack crap down the stretch after bodies on the floor seconds before. I honestly don't know if it favored one team or the other, but it just was horribly inconsistent officiating tonight.

His charge call on O-Max was horrible, particularly when balanced against the fact that a few possession earlier, Kolek absolutely got bulldozed and no call.  Have to be consistent there.  That call against OMax was a huge moment in the game.

Yea. It went from a football game to super tight to back to football.

I was convinced that one call cost us the Bug East title at the time.

Congrats to the team.
Just going by this ugly-ass box score I would have said that was a big L:

Yes Daniel......I said the same thing. Why not put Ben on the ball there? Nunge actually git a pretty decent look.

Had a similar thought.  I was amazed (in a good way) at Shaka's composure in that moment.  It happened right in front of him.  He wasn't happy but he didn't go ballistic, no "air punches," he just took looked to the rafters like WTF.  I think that calmness he has carries over to the team, and helps to calm them as well.

Noticed it when it happened.   Gold on the inbounder.  Or Keeyan jumping.

Everything about this game was epic. Both teams. Both coaches. Both efforts. Classic game

I couldn't believe I had to agree with Gillen. I really wanted Gold on the inbounder.

Nunge got off a really make-able shot. Too close for comfort!

Again, I've never seen a full court heave pass be blocked by someone guarding the inbounder. And he could run the baseline, so just having some guy doing jumping jacks would make one defender completely useless.

Respectfully disagree, wades.

You can disrupt the inbounder's vision, you can distract him, you can fluster him. Anything so a guy isn't just standing there, able to lock in on his target, stride forward and throw the exact pass he wanted. As for being able to run the baseline ... it's very difficult to throw a perfect 65-70 foot pass while running.

It's actually a little dangerous too. I thought the Xavier guy was going to set a screen and kolek could have been called for a foul for running into him. Shaka backed him off though. Happened in a badger game.
