As for the game - Fitting end the half. This is us versus Baylor where everything is going nearly perfect for UCONN.

Great to see Ben Gold make an impact. Oso lack of outside shooting really challenging us as teams are dropping off him at the elbow and just quick first step doesn't matter as the defender has enough cushion.

Need OMax to get out of his funk.

Yet somehow it's February and the wheels are falling off again.  Guess the coaches and team refuse to learn from past mistakes.

Cut it to 10 by ten minute mark and see what happens. Win some battles early and get a little run to start the half. Like the St. John's game, we should be down 25+ at half

I'm encouraged by the last 4-6 minutes of the first half.  We could have clawed this down to 10 or 12 with a few bounces going our way.

But MU is not done. We'll see what MU is made of. Some say it's a road game or it doesn't matter. It does. Fighting to stay on top, fighting to win is mandatory.  Respect doesn't come easy. It will take an outstanding effort in the 2nd half. I expect to see a MU win. They have enough energy. Get some shots to fall.  Get fouled. Get it close. Steal it.

That's one theory.  The other is that it's February and the wheels are coming off like they do every year.  They will be 1-3 at best in this 4 game stretch and suddenly look like a very mediocre team.

I love this team.   MU is losing to a ranked team on the road.   I am not worried about it in the macro sense at all.    But, it is a fair critique until it isn't anymore.    It has been discussed ad nauseum in actual non-game threads.     Scoopers convincing themselves this year is different.     And I believe it will be.    But right now, during this game, Farley has an opportunity to gloat.    Can't take it personally or seriously.
