I find this story a little suspect.  But apparently a Polar Bear in Alaska took out a little kid and his mom before authorities shot him/her.  They are obviously a species not to be trifled with and the end result was darkness.  People need to use better common sense, RIP to the Polar Bear.

CNN is reporting that the Polar Bear was chasing down people in some obscure Alaskan town.  It sounds like the reporter watched Coacaine Bear or something. This simply isn't plausible even if this was a Stephen King novel.

A reminder of what?   Are you saying this is the polar bear's revenge?   Then he should be put down.     A reminder that we should try to get along with animals?   OK.   But if he attacked the village, he needs to be put down.

A reminder of where I come from on this.  A friend, the father of a classmate of my daughter as well as 3 other children, was killed by a bear while sleeping in a tent.

I do not share your sympathy for bears that attack humans.

I'm the only one looking at this rationally. There is less than a .5% chance the Polar Bear ran down two dumbasses because he/she was either hungry or vindictive. The most likely scenario is a human did something stupid and the Polat Bear justifiably got angry.

I'm the only one looking at this rationally. There is less than a .5% chance the Polar Bear ran down two dumbasses because he/she was either hungry or vindictive. The most likely scenario is a human did something stupid and the Polat Bear justifiably got angry.

There is a 4.3% chance it was a dispute over a parking spot.
