They are.  Though we heard similar from Buzz.

Absolutely adore what Shaka is building here though. Makes me proud to be a huge MU hoops fan again.

The difference is, Shaka already had his big program experience.

Do you remember when the had the coaches panel for 100 years of Marquette basketball how sincerely KO and Cream looked back at their time at MU?

Now sure, Shaka could leave for Louisville next year, but I think he’s learned from his previous stop.

I've judged people incorrectly before, but I'd be shocked if Shaka is being insincere.

While I think Shaka is here for the long haul, grouping him in the same sentence with Buzz is an injustice to Shaka. Will add, I was and still am a Buzz fan, but apples and oranges when it comes to character.

Great as always from Fanta as always.  My only  :o…no way is Texas a top-10 brand in CBB.  CFB? Absolutely.  Overall athletic programs, yeah.  But not in CBB alone

Program, no, but brand, I see that argument. Texas has never had top-10 success, but they have the exposure, money, and name recognition that few can match. Once you get past the blue bloods, they're probably right in that discussion.

I think it's interesting he actually mentioned Buzz in his quote. Haven't seen that from anybody since he left to my recollection.
