I have a Zephyr hat of the old eagle logo that I got around 2005. Get a few questions of where I got it from time to time.

I would be good with going back to that logo for when we have to use the Eagle. I like the emphasis of the MU logo though. I'd say that's a silver lining of the Gold fiasco.

Anyone approximately under the age of 50 went to school during the Golden Eagle name. If you get triggered so much over a nickname that hasn't existed for 30 years, perhaps you should evaluate your life's priorities. Its more than time to move on.

I'm 52 and also steer clear of anything with the Eagle. I don't think there is anything wrong with being a Marquette fan without being a Golden Eagle fan. I proudly wear my MU logo shirts and sweatshirts.
