Weird Bryson story.

https://golfweek.usatoday.com/2024/07/10/liv-golf-bryson-dechambeau-lies-extortion-mike-schy-ex-coach-junior-golf-tournament/

Always good when defendant side presents a bunch of legal documents and the accuser spends 90% of their comments hurling insults.

Also, regardless if it was Bryson or Rory or Tiger, when someone claims they should be getting a non-unsubstantial amount of money cause "its nothing for them, they have so much", its always a red flag to me.

Tend to agree.  Lots of sour grapes.  Does reinforce my Bryson's current act isn't genuine, though.

Isn't that also true for the European team?

They do set up a course where American players have to use their whole bag and not just toaster head driver and wedge

I'm teeing off at Pasa at 8:45 (PT)!  Hopefully I can manage an 85 or lower.

In other news in the world of golf.Sergio Garcia and His Spanish teammates won Individual and Team Championships in playoffs  at Valderrama . Course played tough as always . Large crowds. I think LIV is developing a solid niche overseas and in underserved US markets.

My guess is sometime in the weeks after The Open Championship, an announcement will be made between PIF, PGA Tour, LIV and DP World Tour

followed Tony Romo around this afternoon at WSGA at Merrill.  eeek...he's +12 thru 12.  he got off to bad start on #1 tee shot went left into trees carded a triple.  #2-par 5-great tee shot positioned him to hit the green in 2 but 3 putt...he never settled in and i believe they were going to put him on the clock which probably didn't help.  they said he flew in this morning from tahoe on his private jet.  i'm sure the dry to humid 2 hour time diff didn't help

What golf ball do you play Scoopers?  I'm happy with the Bridgestone E6, but I was just curious if there are expert opinions on the best options?  When I've tried the most expensive ones, I haven't seen much of a difference.   I'm a natural draw hitter.  I have tested out a few, but maybe I should do a comprehensive analysis.  10-15 extra yards would help me.

If you like E6s, try Q-Star.   Similar price point.  May spin a little more around the green.

Olds are playing Carnoustie this week.  Another great course to watch golfers work their way around.  Padraig Harrington has decided to take on all the holes this morning and has been entertaining as heck.  Par-5 6th, named Hogan's Alley, is playing to a scoring average of nearly 6.

Carnoustie is probably my favorite in the rota.  Ben Hogan winning there has a lot to do with that.

I remember back before you became an evangelical Christian, you made a huge bet on Hogan. You've never forgotten that cool $1M he made you!

Hogan always went out of his way to thank Rico for curing his hook.

As an evangelical Christian, I can gamble all I want.  It's the non-evangelicals I look down upon.
