If you're talking a 2024 trip, you're about 13 months too late if you want to stay on-site.

I've been to a couple supper clubs offsite, if you're in need of 'nightlife', probably not the place for the group

Thanks for the heads up.

One member did make note of a rather humorously named "gentlemen's club" in the area.

Which one of you clowns was golfing in Cudahy?

Like 4Elder, I only hang around the right kind of people.  If my turn to evangelicalism has taught me one thing, it's money, power and the right background > Cudahy.

Nobody is golfing in Wisconsin today.

No problem, so long as they keep out the chicks.

We don't.  Many of our members are fellow evangelicals and we do everything in our power to keep the homeless as far away as possible.

Maybe some year I'll get you a dinner invite.

One of them is Condoleezza Rice at least.

I went last year, it was unbelievable. I had high expectations going in and the course far exceeded them. I didn't know a golf course could be in such good condition.

We went to the Monday practice round which I thought was perfect. All I cared about was seeing the course so I thought the practice round was the best way to do that. We walked the whole thing 3-4 times

Also, I recommend Luigi's in Augusta for a nice Italian dinner. After Luigi's we went to hooters to watch the national championship.

Lastly, Augusta is kind of a sh!thole

Been once - 2008. It was largely a forgettable tournament, as Trevor Immelman won, and none of the big names really ever made a run.

But Augusta National was spectacular.

I walked the entire course for four straight days, and each hole offered something interesting and beautiful. It helped that, aside from one soaker that didn't last all that long, the weather was great all weekend.

I was surprised at how hilly the course was - it was a workout walking it. I also was surprised at how inexpensive the food and soda was.

All in all, Augusta National is one of the few places in America I've ever been to that exceeded the extremely high expectations I had going in. In that respect, it would be on my personal list with the Grand Canyon, Kauai and some stretches of the Pacific Coast Highway.

Every golf fan should try to get there once in his or her life.

It's why I take a helicopter onto the property.  Any self-respecting person wouldn't be caught dead in Augusta proper.  In fact, 50/50 you'll get murdered in the city

Nice!  I'll be in Butler's Cabin this year.  It's Sean McManus last event and he invited a few close associates.

Done Berckman's the last few years.
