we had clubhouse tickets for thursday-glad i bought the insurance-stayed home to watch in between rain/sleet.  muddy parking lots were miles away.  not worth attempting to trudge around with a wife and her new hip

we've gone every year for the past 6 and this is beyond the worst weather we've ever had down here in 2nd week february

Saturday, the WM Open suspended alcohol sales because it had devolved even more so than usual into a drunken frat party.   People passed out, people bloodied.

they need to gain control of this thing as it has become...oh, and there's a golf event going on.  they've created a monster.  general admission tix are too cheap~$35.  they need to regain the dignity of golf events which set themselves apart from others...until now.

Dignity at golf events?  Huh

  don't know how many golf events you've been to, but excessive, prolonged rowdy behavior isn't tolerated at most pga events as it is almost encouraged at phoenix open.  i love the wastemanagement open.  i've been to the previous 6 or so, missed this one due to weather(way too much water for even reeko) and may even rethink going to future events. 

  we typically get the clubhouse passes and just watching the activities from above the 18th green is getting cringe-worthy.  i cab imagine what's happening on hole 16.  think summerfest and frat parties x 10. 

   if the golf isn't enough to get ya sauced up, they have medium headliner concerts afterwards at the coors light "birds nest" including a duran-duran revival on friday night
