yes, what grayson did was inappropriate(2017), he apologized and i believe many will say, part of the problem was bad judgement and alcohol related.  he has addressed the alcohol issue and is 8 mos sober.

Jackie Burke was a friend of mine at MU. Solid outside shot, got decent minutes off the bench for our Warriors. Helped make life miserable for Pistol Pete in our rout of LSU in the 1970 NIT semifinals. Really good guy, and to my knowledge at least, never took any Saudi dough.

I think that the USGA has a big say in this as well. Since Dunlap has to be an amateur to play in the US Amateur.

Correct but he also has the opportunity to earn money from endorsements that he didn't once have.  The USGA relaxed that rule awhile back.

It's his choice when to decide to become a full professional.  The USGA has allowed an avenue for players to earn money from equipment companies but the NCAA has not.  The USGA did this largely to allow those that graduate or plan on turning pro to earn money before the US Men's Am is played
