I’ll probably volunteer at the Mid-Am.

Sedge Valley opens in ‘24.  Supposed to be the hardest course on the property.  Par-68.  Can’t wait to get back

yes, probably, but never hurts to a$k, plus it's hard to predict where the pga is going.  they have some serious PR boo-boos to bs their way out of.  as long as you have some pga stalwarts-jack et.al. around, they may weather the storm.  once some of these big guns are gone, they better have their "place" in order.  do not take them for granted.  that was mistake #1, 2 & 3.  i will bet you rory with a few hot toddies in him will tell ya he's a little more than "disappointed" with how "things" have played out

PNC Championship is more interesting than football.

2024 Looking to be a solid to potentially excellent season for Tiger. Working on getting game ready. Looking to play once a month.  I think he will be in contention on the back 9 Final round at Augusta .

Favorite personal golf moments of the year.
Shooting a no mulligan even par round.  Course was too packed to take any.  Groups in front and behind watching every shot.

Playing a course new to me.  Also with my kid.  9th green.  Starting to rain.  A ranger leading groups in off the course due to the rain.   With him talking smack to me as I get ready to putt.  60 foot putt, 20 feet of break, nothing but jar in front of a bunch of people watching from the covered patio at the clubhouse.  The ranger offered to buy me a drink.

Favorite Personal Golf Moments of Year for me are limited. I have been only playing at a Multi Day Corporate Outing at Pinehurst in recent years. In the process of converting to Old Man Style Golf.  The highlight this year was I was able to par a hole on my own ball on Pinehurst number 2. Everyone else had a bad drive in that native scrub, so we had to use my old man drive , everyone else went into deep bunker where flag was close to bunker,  so we had to use my old man approach far away from the bunker  and hole and then I two putted from the fringe.

Thats amazing.

My friend belonged to a club when I was a teenager.  Head pro was really cool, used to let us go off and play a quick 9 towards the end of days.  One late afternoon, we go off, get through 6, playing the par 5 7th and the cranky assistant pro comes out to yell at us.  Something about needing to evening water or something, probably just annoyed that there were people on the course when he wanted to shut down.  Yelling to pick up our balls, threatening some sort of punishment, etc...  I had driven into the rough and hacked back into the fairway like 170 out.  Being a standard 15 year old in the face of a douche vague authority figure, I just step up and hit the shot anyways...1 hop and the loudest pin smack I'd ever heard as it popped in for my first ever Eagle.  The assistant didn't buy me a drink, he actually drove up to the green and grabbed my ball.   I wonder what dog track he's wasting away at these days...

Well done Tower. Mine was about 2 weeks ago playing in the mid-40s and windy. One of my buddies suggested moving up a tee to about 5500 yards. Started out 7 over after 5 holes. Finished 18 at 6 over. Shot even par on the back. (Stoopid par putt on 18 curled away at the last 2” or would have been under par.) We all had a blast from the forward tees and it will be interesting to see if we go back to the whites next season.

As golf czar, I’d make everyone play up a set of tees to where their games belong
