Leona Maguire is always a solid bet.   If the wind really is howling this evening, her experience playing Irish links land courses will be helpful.

Corpuz was in the Friday group with Maguire that I followed three weeks ago.  That day she was super solid but did not have the closing run that Maguire had.   Shot 67ish, but nobody noticed.

Furue has been playing well this year, too.  Wonder what the leader is at after today?

Having fun in LIV London

This got absolutely roasted across social media showing how out of touch they are with the general public.  Flash mobs?  What is this?  2013?

What a fun day watching these women at Pebble!  Zhang is absolutely amazing but I must say Farue was my favorite player to watch.  She's really little but pops the ball with tremendous consistency!  The way she shallows the club is phenomenal and her balance is perfect.

This is the first time I've watched the LPGA in person, they're incredibly impressive .Min-Jee-Lee's swing is an absolute thing of beauty. Technically I think they're better than the men from an overall standpoint. I'll be rooting for Ayaka....I think she like 4'11.  :)

Nasa Hataoka is 5'2.   She really gets the most out of her lack of leverage, too.

Glad you had fun, Muggsy.

Yes!!  Nasa was awesome as well. These women have beautiful tempo and transition.  I also really enjoyed watching Brooke Henderson.  She holds the club so loose and has that wicked hinge.  Zhang is going to be a huge, huge, star imo.  The total package.

Because you and I cannot hit it 350 yards, in many ways we can learn more about the golf swing watching the women professionals.
They are almost never out of balance.  They can't just fire at pins and put tour juice on it, so they play for the bounce and roll out.    More realistic short games.

Don't get me wrong.  I admire Rory and Rahm  and Finau and Sceffler.   But I cannot generate that much club speed.   So I learn more watching the ladies or Langer.

I completely agree Tower.  Farue doesn't look she's going full throttle at all and was still popping drives and long irons.  I was most impressed with their balance . They rarely try to muscle the ball.  And let's be real, they can still hit it pretty damn far and would wipe the floor vs very good male golfers.

Superb round of golf.

She was 8.7 strokes better than the field.  Shooting a 66 today is incredible golf and one of the best rounds of golf you’ll ever see.  She has to finish for it to matter

Hull with a 32 on the Front 9.  It's time for Nasa to focus and play with pinpoint precision.  :)
