Zero.  I’d fire my caddie if he lost any
It would be his job to surreptitiously drop a ball in a convenient location to be found  with a good lie and a good angle?

No, I don’t cheat unlike some presidential candidates.  Golf is a game of honor.  Anyone that cheats at golf like Brooks Koepka and Patrick Reed are a disgrace to the game and bad people.  It’s an automatic qualifier that golf cheats are bad human beings

Hey, you're talking about the club champion and course record-holder at a dozen or more country clubs. Show some respect!

An article is written about Nelly, what she owes women's golf, how overprotective her family is, how it is in her nature to be shy, that she could be Caitlin Clark....and her game goes in the tank.    Hopefully, this is just a pothole.

Her score absolutely shocked me Tower after a strong 1st round.

Based on recent form, I was more surprised by her first round score.

A lot of danger on this course.  Maybe some one goes low today?

Charley Hull with a complete lack of focus on 17.  That can't happen on a very straightforward Par 3.  6,  Triple B, no longer in contention.

Tower, you would have put it about 20 ft and just miss the birdie low left.

Muggsy, I could have just as easy cold topped it.   Golfers are human.   Golf is a game of managing and minimizing misses.  The fewest mistakes usually does well.  Ms. Hull had a bad hole.

You're kinder than I am.  That was a meltdown.  The water wasn't even in play for the rest of the field.  I think she hit that about 100 yards with a 7i.   You simply can't go from -4 to E the last two holes.

Yes, I am.

Leona M
Maguire hit into the water though it was 35 yards short of the hole.  Oops.

How many shots do you hit in a round that are exactly what you pictured?

I'm not a top pro but I probably miss 4-5 shots a round.

Most pros only hit a few 'pure' shots a round. The one that come off the club face exactly how they want.    But they know how to minimize their misses and get up and down from everywhere.

If you're talking 100% pure?  Then I miss many shots per round.

I miss most of my shots.  3-4 a round that are exactly what I want.  And of those, often those are recovery shots after lousy swings.

I can't hit my fade with enough pop and struggle getting enough height with my long irons.  I feel pretty comfortable with my short game and ripping my low draw to keep the ball in play.  But I still can't figure our how Woosy hit the ball so far.  :(

Yang is in complete control.  Beautiful tempo in her swing.  She will be very tough to catch.
