People lose their mind in the south if a snowflake (yes, just one snowflake) is spotted within a 300 mile radius.  Kinda funny.

Was in Dallas in March and it got down to 28 one night. The morning reporter found a small pothole with some frozen water in it, and declared "THIS IS BLACK ICE".

🙄🙄🙄

We played golf later that morning.

Crazy in Milwaukee, half the schools closed.  Yeah, it was chilly at 3pm.

But .. not enough snow to even plow.

Every year we get fooled by media hype .. like clockwork and Lucy pulling the ball on Charlie Brown.

Looks like we're getting a salad place instead, which is the exact opposite of Arby's.

I've failed miserably.

The Milwaukee area is in a winter storm warning with wind chill expected to reach -40 below. Kids shouldn't be in school today.

That's the typical 2022 pussification standard rhetoric. Gone are the days when men were men. I say strap it on and go forward, hey?

Keep the office open.  Make it a community outreach day.   I like it.

MPS had a Professional Development Day yesterday (Thursday) and no school on today (Friday) for the start of winter break, so kids weren't scheduled to be in school already anyway.

No kid should be out waiting for a school bus today.   Brutal.  I shoveled last night before the cold front came through.   3 inches of heavy wet snow.   This morning, it was about the drifts.   Bare spots next to 2-3 foot deep spots.    Ahhh, the upper midwest in winter.   Upper 40's by this time next week.   Golf weather.

Alot of rain on Thursday.  Then wind early Friday morning.  Now the temperature plunge for this part of the country.  Single digits.  Merry Christmas to all Scoopers!

Well, we could all live in Buffalo, NY. Did they not get about 4ft of snow a couple of weeks ago. Here in Jersey it is suppose to go down to about 8 degrees overnight, but no to little snow; that is pretty cold for us.

Merry Christmas!

We received 15 inches of snow last Saturday.  About 9 so far from this storm.  Blowing, drifting, sustained winds are impressive.

We have a wind chill advisory. And they were right. Sitting waterside at lunch today was slightly chilly when the sun went briefly behind the clouds.

Pro Tip:  Use a Koozie to avoid direct contact with the cold elements to reduce the chances of frostbite.
