Dammit, Jop.   Attack

Damn.  Should honestly be 20.  Lost focus the final few possessions.  Really good half though overall.

I know they made a heave three, but that D was great. Didn’t bite on the head fake, love it. Joplin on the other hand might have to add more than being a slightly above average shooter. Decent half.

Pretty good half, but we have absolutely no sense of how to close a half.

Joplin has been absolutely horrible.  Cost the team 7 points combined on both ends that last 60 seconds.

All else looked pretty strong.
VIOLENCE!

Great half, brutal finish.

Jop would be slow in an adapative basketball league.

Not sure what was more mind boggling his "fast break" dribble. Or whatever you call that attempt on the beautiful Oso dime.

Listened to game on the radio on the way home from work.  Tony Smith commented that Joplin needs to be stronger with the ball in traffic. He could not be more correct.  Ugh

Sloppy finish.  That will be koleks only turnover.   Need to stay tough and move the ball.    Decent half on both ends. osa impressive

Up 18
Ball of S. Jones thigh. GT gets two free throws
Ball off Kolek foot, GT drains a three
Joplin at bucket…..ouch
Up 13, five points, we’ll thrown away. Maybe seven.

Bad last minute or so and great defense, especially Mitchell

Good defense, but GT is also pretty bad it would appear.

Stops In the thread with a 13 point lead

Bunch of recent posts crapping on Joplin or that the lead should be bigger

Checks out - all normal on the game thread.

Except Joplin helped where he didn't need to and left his man pretty open for that 3.  Absolutely brutal half for Jop.  He's going to be one of those head scratcher players.  Ultimately think he's a 1/2 step too slow, and his shooting motion also is slow.  But, he's just in his second season, Game 5.  Hard working kid, and I think he'll get there as an upperclassmen.

No, you complained that people pointed out that he needs to play better

I’ll have to rewatch the help, specifically I was watching Kam. I’ve said I don’t think Joplin has it, but I also hope I’m wrong. I don’t see the hard working part of his personality much yet, but I have been somewhat impressed with his rebounding in earlier games. I’m all for giving him a chance to work through it, hell, I LOVED Cain, so I can’t be a hypocrite!

Gotta use his athleticism and quickness when physically overwhelmed, then. Excellent player

Step on their throats the first 4 mins of the 2nd half.  Poise, precision, execution, domination.

No, that’s what happened, either.
